FAIR PAY ACT
An Act
to Ensure the Pay of All and to Regulate Wages

PREAMBLE
To ensure the rightful, proper, and acceptable pay of all.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE STATE OF FIRESTONE CONGRESS HERE ASSEMBLED THAT:

SECTION 1.
(a) All Citizens have the right to a fair pay (wage) for their work committed, be it
bonded by their job or properly recognized position. Non-citizens do not have the
right to a fair pay, though may, but are not required to, be granted one
regardless; as per Section 4(b) of this legislation.
(b) Should a Citizen be employed by the Government – whether it be by a Department
or other Governmental position – their wage may be regulated by the state
legislature, as such set in this legislation (see Section 2);
(c) Although, should a Citizen be employed by an entity outside of the Government –
whether it be a business, private group or organization, or any other group that
has been recognized by the Department of Commerce – their wage may be set be set
by the recognized group itself and approved of by the Governor, though must meet
any standards, terms or other regulations that have been set (see Section 5).

SECTION 1A. The term “wage” means the amount of money given after a period of two minutes (120 seconds).

SECTION 1B. Wages do not stack per employment: should an individual hold more than one job, or other properly recognized position, they shall only receive the highest paying wage.

SECTION 1C. Wages may be created or amended for jobs and other certain positions through other legislation.

SECTION 2. Wages for employment affiliated with the Government are set within Section 2A and 2B of this legislation.

SECTION 2A. The wages for Governmental positions are as follows:
(a) The Governor shall receive a wage of $40.
(b) The Lieutenant Governor shall receive a wage of $39.
(c) The Speaker of the House shall receive a wage of $37.
(d) The Chief Court Justice shall receive a wage of $37.
(e) The Cabinet shall receive a wage of $35.
(f) The Senate shall receive a wage of $33.
(g) The House of Representatives shall receive a wage of $29.
(h) The Judges of all State Courts (only State – not County or City Courts), shall
receive a wage of $31.
(i) The County Executive shall receive a wage of $23.
(j) All County Government Officials, City Government Officials, including City
Mayors and County & City Court Judges shall receive a wage of $22.
(k) The Capitol Staff shall receive a wage of $22.

SECTION 2B. The wages of Departmental positions are as follows; although, this excludes those in a ranking that does not equal actual employment, ex. “Founder”, “Citizen”, “Trainee”, “Candidate”, “Enlistee”, etc.:
(a) The Firestone State Patrol (except: Probationary Trooper) shall receive a wage of
$18.
(b) The Firestone National Guard (except: Enlist) shall receive a wage of $21.
(c) The Firestone Department of Transportation (except: Trainee) shall receive a wage
of $18.
(d) The Firestone Department of Homeland Security (except: Academy Enlistee) shall
receive a wage of $21.
(e) The Firestone Department of Justice (except: Public Attorney and State Certified
Attorney) shall receive a wage of $19.
(f) The Firestone Department of Corrections (except: Applicant) shall receive a wage
of $18.
(g) The Firestone Department of Commerce (except: Candidate) shall receive a wage of
$19.
(h) The Firestone Department of Public Safety shall receive a wage of $18.
(i) The Firestone Department of Public Works (except: Trainee) shall receive a wage
of $18.
(j) The Firestone Department of Health shall receive a wage of $19.
(k) The Firestone Department of State (except: Citizen and Foreign Diplomat) shall
receive a wage of $20.
(l) The Firestone Department of Aviation (except: Citizen and In Training) shall
receive a wage of $18.
(m) The Firestone Department of Boating and Waterways (except: Department Trainee)
shall receive a wage of $18.
(n) The StapIeton County Sheriff’s Office (except: Probationary Deputy) shall receive
a wage of $18.
(o) The StapIeton County Fire Department (except: Candidate) shall receive a wage of
$19.

SECTION 3. Misc:
(a) The Founder and Co-Founder(s) of Firestone shall receive a wage of $1, regardless
of any other job or position held or regulation set: this is an exception, as
such, Section 1B and all other conflicting sections of this legislation do not
apply here.
(i) This shall be known as the “one-dollar wage” (with its purpose similar to
the “one-dollar salary”).
(b) The Firestone Developer(s) shall receive a wage of $35.

SECTION 4.
(a) All Citizens that do not have a job or hold a position set for a wage shall
receive the minimum wage of $8.
(b) All non-citizens (including Tourists and Foreign Diplomats) may, but are not
required to, receive a wage of $4.

SECTION 5.
(a) With Section 1(c) of this legislation, entities outside of the Government
(businesses, companies, organizations), (such entities will be further regarded
in this legislation as organizations) may employ Citizens – as such, these
Citizens have the right to receive a fair pay, although:
(i) These organizations must meet all standards and regulations set by the
state legislature, and must be appropriate to ROBLOX standing.
(ii) These organizations must meet the business policy set by the Department of
Commerce and be approved of by the same department.
(iii) These organizations must be recognized as an official business by the
Department of Commerce and the Governor of Firestone.
(iv) These organizations must be approved of by the Governor of Firestone.
(b) The owner or designated head of an organization that has met the earlier
mentioned requirements may request an appropriate wage for their employees. This
wage must be approved of by the Governor of Firestone.
(i) “appropriate wage” means a wage that is a minimum of $8 to a maximum of
$30.
(ii) Non-citizens are ineligible for such wage, and as such, instead may
receive a wage of $4, as per Section 4(b).
(c) The state legislature may further regulate or amend this process through
appropriate legislation.

SECTION 6. The act of providing a wage not set to do so as said within this legislation, or through other legislation, is illegal and is to be regarded as an absolute high crime. Such act shall be known as “Providing an Improper Wage” and is a felony.
(a) ROBLOX Game-passes are permitted to do such act, and are not illegal to utilize.

SECTION 7. This legislation shall go into effect immediately.

SECTION 8. All laws in conflict with this legislation are hereby declared null and void.
