COMPREHENSIVE PAY RISE ACT

A Bill to ensure that all citizens are paid a minimum wage; to ensure public employees are paid fairly and proportionally; to increase wages universally.


BE IT ENACTED BY THE STATE OF FIRESTONE CONGRESS HERE ASSEMBLED THAT:

SECTION 1A: For the purposes of this Act, “wage” shall refer to the amount of money automatically paid to an individual’s in-game wallet every two (2) minutes by the game systems. Payments made manually by another individual may not be considered a wage.

SECTION 1B: All Citizens shall be entitled to a minimum wage of $10.

SECTION 1C: Non-citizens of the State of Firestone (tourists/visitors) may receive a wage of no more than $4.


SECTION 2: Wages for members of the government, and upper-class citizens, shall be as follows. These wages shall be paid while an individual is on the Citizen team.

(i) The Governor shall receive a wage of $40.

(ii) The Lieutenant Governor shall receive a wage of $39.

(iii) The Speaker of the House shall receive a wage of $38.

(iv) The Chief Court Justice shall recieve a wage of $38.

(v) Court Justices shall receive a wage of $35.

(vi) Cabinet Members shall receive a wage of $35.

(vii) Senators and Representatives shall receive a wage of $35.

(viii) The County Executive shall receive a wage of $30.

(ix) County Government Officials shall be entitled to a wage of $18.

(x) Municipal Government Officials shall be entitled to a wage of $14.

(xi) Upper Class Citizens shall be entitled to a wage of $20.

(xii) Sub-cabinet members shall be entitled to a wage of $25.


SECTION 3: Wages for public employees shall be as follows. These wages shall be paid only while an individual is on the appropriate team for their employment.

(i) Employees of the Department of Homeland Security shall be entitled to a wage of $24.

(ii) Employees of the Firestone National Guard (including the Coast Guard) shall be entitled to a wage of $24.

(iii) Employees of the Firestone Bureau of Investigation shall be entitled to a wage of $24.

(iv) Employees of the Department of Aviation shall be entitled to a wage of $21.

(v) Employees of the Department of Health shall be entitled to a wage of $21.

(vi) Employees of the Department of Corrections shall be entitled to a wage of $20.

(vii) Employees of the Stapleton County Fire Department shall be entitled to a wage of $20.

(viii) Employees of the Stapleton County Sheriff’s Office shall be entitled to a wage of $20.

(ix) Employees of the Firestone State Patrol shall be entitled to a wage of $20.

(x) Employees of the Department of Transportation shall be entitled to a wage of $19.

(xi) Employees of the Department of Boating and Waterways shall be entitled to a wage of $19.

(xii) Employees of the Department of Public Works shall be entitled to a wage of $19.


SECTION 4: Prisoners, who are incarcerated by the State of Firestone, shall be paid no wage for the duration of which they are incarcerated.


SECTION 5A: No individual shall be paid less than the wages prescribed in Sections 2 and 3 of this Act, except for where expressly permitted by this Act or other state law.

SECTION 5B: The Firestone Developers may, at their discretion, add gameplay mechanics, purchasable items, or similar, to increase individuals’ wages. (such as a double income game-pass)

SECTION 5C: There shall be no taxation of income in the State of Firestone.


SECTION 6: The Fair Pay Act and all subsequent amendments (including, but not limited to An Amendment to the Fair Pay Act, A Bill to Increase the Minimum Wage, and An Amendment to the Fair Pay Act to Pay Congresspeople Equally) shall be declared null and void.

SECTION 7: Should any part of this Act be declared unconstitutional or otherwise struck down, the rest shall remain in effect unless all is struck down or declared unconstitutional.

SECTION 8: This Bill shall go into effect as an Act of Congress and be implemented by the Firestone Developers upon the completion of the constitutionally required processes.
