The State Sanctions Act
STATE OF FIRESTONE
February 4th, 2023
AN ACT
TO
UPDATE AND REDESIGN THE PATRIOT ACT
SECTION I: SEVERABILITY; EFFECTIVENESS
(a) If any part of this act is struck down by the Firestone Supreme Court, this act shall be null and void.
(b) This act shall be deemed effective once all conditions outlined by the constitution necessary for its passage are fulfilled properly.
(c) This act shall be cited, “The State Sanctions Act”, “An Act to Update and Redesign the Patriot Act”, and “State Sanctions Act”.
SECTION II: DEFINITIONS
(a) Hereinafter, the “Patriot Act” shall be defined as, Patriot Act
(b) The Firestone Criminal Code shall be defined as, Trello
SECTION III: ENACTMENT
(a) The Governor of the State of Firestone and/or the Secretary of State of the Department of State may recommend the proposal of sanctions later established by this legislation to the Firestone Congress.
(b) Requested sanctions must be proposed in the form of legislation by an individual empowered by the Constitution.
(c) The sanctions established by this legislation are simply templates for the proposal of sanctions by Congress. The legislation encompassing the proposal of sanctions must define to the best of its ability specifics about who is sanctioned, why they are sanctioned, and how they are sanctioned.
(d) Sanctions may only be imposed on any Ro-State, Ro-Nation, or any other role-playing organization within ROBLOX.
(e) Chapter 6, Section 20 of the Firestone Criminal Code shall be established and be titled, “§20 - Violating a Sanction”
(f) Chapter 6, Section 20 of the Firestone Criminal Code shall state, “
(a) The act of Violating a Sanction shall be recognized as a criminal offense within the State of Firestone.
(b) Violating a Sanction shall be the act of breaking or disregarding a legal sanction imposed by the Firestone Government.”
(g) Chapter 6, Section 20 shall be classed as a Class C Felony and shall be recognized as a “Courts Only” offense. Any person found to be in violation of Chapter 6, Section 20 of the Firestone Criminal Code shall, upon conviction in a court of law, be subject to the penalties prescribed for a Class C Felony.
SECTION IV: SANCTIONS
(a) The “employment sanction” shall be recognized. Such sanctions may, but are not required to and may be expanded off of, contain:
(i) The restriction of employment opportunities of individuals a part of the sanctioned group may have within Firestone.
(ii) The immediate, timed, or threatened removal of employment of individuals a part of the sanctioned group within Firestone.
(b) The “economic sanction” or “embargo” shall be recognized. Such sanctions may, but are not required to and may be expanded off of, contain:
(i) The removal of any businesses affiliated with the sanctioned group from Firestone.
(ii) The restriction of trade and commerce with the sanctioned group.
(iii) The imposing of trade tariffs.
(c) The “military sanction” shall be recognized. Such sanctions may, but are not required to and may be expanded off of, contain:
(i) The restriction of military aid or supplies.
(ii) Military intervention.
(d) The “diplomatic sanction” shall be recognized. Such sanctions may, but are not required to and may be expanded off of, contain:
(i) The reduction, restriction, or removal of diplomatic ties.
(ii) The expelling of diplomatic officials from Firestone territory.
(iii) The unrecognition of Firestone embassies in the sanctioned group’s territory.
SECTION V: ENFORCEMENT AND NULLIFICATION
(a) The “Patriot Act” shall be declared null and void in its entirety.
(b) The legislative, executive, and judicial branches shall enforce this legislation upon passing.
