A Bill to Establish Crosswalks and Jaywalking

BE IT ENACTED BY THE STATE OF FIRESTONE CONGRESS HERE ASSEMBLED THAT:

SECTION 1: Crosswalks will allow legal pathways for citizens to be able to cross the road legally and this will allow cops to enforce jaywalking.

SECTION 2: Crosswalks will be made by the Department of Development and will be placed on intersections, traffic circles, and anywhere else where needed.

SECTION 2A: Crosswalks will be defined as : A part of the road which is marked to allow civilians to have the right of way.

SECTION 2B: Jaywalking will be defined as : Walking in the middle of the roadway when a cross-walk is nearby; which also is obstructing traffic. This is an illegal and ticket-able offense.

SECTION 3: Stapleton County Sheriff’s Office, Firestone State Patrol, Department of Homeland Security, and Department of Research and Development. will enforce this legislation.

SECTION 4: Upon passage, this legislation shall go into effect when the crosswalks are installed in the County.

SECTION 5: All laws in conflict with this legislation are hereby declared null and void.
