A Bill to Amend a Bill to Establish Crosswalks and Jaywalking

BE IT ENACTED BY THE STATE OF FIRESTONE CONGRESS HERE ASSEMBLED THAT:

PREAMBLE: This bill is being introduced in order to better clarify how crosswalks and j-walking works within the State of Firestone.

SECTION 1: A Bill to Establish Crosswalks and Jaywalking shall be amended.

SECTION 2: A Bill to Establish Crosswalks and Jaywalking shall be defined as; A Bill to Establish Crosswalks and Jaywalking

SECTION 3A: Section 2C shall now be created and state; Pedestrians can’t step right out into traffic. Pedestrians must wait until traffic is clear or a signal of right away for the pedestrian is given. Pedestrians shall not unreasonably impede traffic. Pedestrians may not suddenly leave the curb and walk or run into the path of a vehicle which is so close it is impossible for the driver to yield.

SECTION 3B: Section 3D shall now be created and state; Drivers shall yield the right-of-way by slowing down or stopping if need be to yield to a pedestrian crossing within a crosswalk when pedestrian is upon the half of the road in which the vehicle is traveling or when pedestrian is approaching so closely from the opposite half of the road as to be in danger.

SECTION 4: Upon passage, this legislation shall go into effect immediately at all pedestrian crossings.
