A Bill to Protect Applicants

A Bill to Protect Applicants

Preamble: This legislation is being proposed due to the number of concerns citizens have when it comes to communication on their application status. Please note that departments do not have to be done processing each application within a week but must respond after a week if an individual request for their status on their application without facing a blacklist or automatic decline. We have seen applications range from 2 weeks to over 3 months. It is unfair to citizens who apply and think they are still pending just to learn that they were declined months ago without notice. This bill is essential to help protect applicants. Here is some proof: Screenshot by Lightshot Screenshot by Lightshot
