idk how i feel about that actually
if a cop was in dhs but their alt was a criminal they’d know all their strats or whatever the hell they need secret
i mean, either way they can do it secretly and still know
Issue with that is then criminals can get in dhs, fsp and scso and everything will be a shit show
true but its less likely if its still illegal
in mayflower, it works fine; every cop gets bored of seeing the same criminals here
the thing is, I still want to be a crim without waiting 30 days of no crime, so that we’re “changed” to go legal. I dont get why DPW is so strict with restrictions
I support this
executive order prohibits depts in the executive branch from hiring felons
everyone just takes their roblox careers too seriously
i can get LEOs and FNG having to stay serious and everything, but DPW, DOT, DOA, DOCM, DPS, all them really i dont see the point
Just like you said before
“this is a game man 90% of the people here are in high school and 8% are in college
i’ve never understood why we need to be PROFESSIONAL AND MATURE 24/7 like let us joke around we’re not real cops”
I don’t wanna wait days to join a department that barely have any classified material
I don’t think mayflower has classified stuff like IO and DHS tho
I see nothing in firestone as “classified”. everything thats classified is literally names and documents about gangs that everyone knows about, or “tactics” that we all know about
I think it’s unhelpful to frame the employment of ex-offenders as something that must be conditional on ‘reform’, ‘change of mentality’, and so on. I respect that the community is a roleplay community; that being said, who wins when we demand that someone has their record expunged before they can get a job (knowing that the jobs which attract the most interest are jobs in the EB)? Who actually cares if a casual player who wants to tow some lego trucks in their spare time committed a felony a couple of months ago? Maybe it’s a different story for law enforcement, as others have suggested, but I don’t really know enough to justify having an opinion about that.
People here aren’t stupid. We don’t need to legislate for every single blade of grass. Let people use their common sense: it won’t be the end of the world if we let ex-felons work in DPW/DOT/etc. with a felony. Concerns about ‘going rogue’ or w/e are completely unfounded. Like anyone else, they would get sacked and blacklisted lol. I just don’t see the harm in letting people have some fun, we’re just driving away casual players otherwise and that’s completely redundant and counter-productive.
Wow you came back after 2 years just to make that bold statement. Thank you I appreciate it. Anyways, I don’t think felons would actually go rouge. The cofounders trusted common felons with mod power before. Felons do take the game policy serious when it comes to perm ban.

We never did anything wrong with our mod power besides like us banning 1-2 people by mistake
which everyone makes (Former LEOs mods banned people by accident as well). We could’ve gone rouge and banned literally anyone. I could’ve deleted the entire #general in discord but I didn’t because I knew if I did I would’ve been banned permanently.
@SerZhukov Nobody really pays much attention to NCLB. In fact, the first time I was contacted about doing the interview was a few days ago, 6 months after I had finished community service. However, I’ve already completed it because the only way is to harass the judges into giving you one. Whoever manages the Trello hadn’t moved my card after 5 months of me completing it. Hence why I was contacted 6 months later.
Unfortunately it is not used much. It is also limited in that you must be convicted of an offense to be in the program. I would love to see some sort of an amendment to make it more usable.
I’m glad to say that we have a new program being proposed to replace the NCLB program. This was done with the assistance of a few notable criminals, the Attorney General, and a few other individuals who have some sort of relation to this soon-to-be-proposed legislation. I hope it is cordially supported and succeeds, giving criminals a more interesting and definitive opportunity to reform themselves.
replace?
It may be revised, so maybe I used the wrong term in that sense.
Yeah you do have a point since all the tactics are throw a flash and run in or breach and kill everyone. I won’t blame tactical units either since they are limited on what they can do. It would be cool if they can break thru the windows and stuff
