I could see this, definitely. It allows members who can’t start businesses yet have records to do something else without the whole court process. However, to meet in the middle with people who disagree, lets say you can’t be promoted with a record, unless you actually aim for the expungement process.

I agree with this. DOT and DPW should not be taken so seriously. Allowing criminals will also make the departments more active, which is what they really need right now.

We must make a change to Section (b) of Executive Order #33.

Make it so that they are only limited to applying for FDOT, DPW and FDOBW.

As a CRT Sergeant, I can tell you with 100% certainty we’re in a decline of criminals. I used to respond at at least 6 shots fired calls a shift and I’m lucky to get two or even one sometimes

Felons are decreasing, not only because a lot are now moving to MF and EB, but because a lot want to have a regular job after their criminal stint. It takes as people have mentioned, close to 2 months for a lot to clear all their past felonies through expungements.
This decrease is also due to the fact that in FS, criminals have pulled quite possibly the worst straw in regards to representation in development. There used to be a few developers, game mods, discord mods, and even forum mods who were criminals, but now you look at the Development team, most either aren’t employed in FS or are LEO’s/Civil Servants.

This causes a severe change in where people want to focus their work on, as such criminals have been put on the back burner, with extraordinarily high prices for basic weapons and tools, not to mention the fact they disappear once you leave the game. We need to see a criminal overhaul, to better the community, to bring crime to a level that warrants good RP, and a good balance to everyone involved. Plus, considering the recent change to paid access, the only criminals who want to do it properly are most likely going to remain, so changes should truly be made. (We should also petition the Overturning/Changing of EO #33 regarding Felon Employment)

EB is really fun because they let felons work and don’t blame the devs saying ā€œnot our problem the devs don’t add stuff for criminals to doā€. They have like 100 in game jobs where it doesn’t matter if you have 1000 arrests you can still be working. I work for this Asian trucking business and I can do crimes all I want off duty but while on duty I have to be professional and I do a good job at that. That’s why I want dpw and dot to hire felons.
