A Bill to Protect Freedom of Speech at Work


BE IT ENACTED BY THE STATE OF FIRESTONE CONGRESS HERE ASSEMBLED THAT:

SECTION 1A: The Fairer Employment Act shall be defined as: Trello

SECTION 2A: The Fairer Employment Act shall be amended.

SECTION 2B: Section 5 of the Fairer Employment Act currently states: “Employees shall retain the right to peacefully express or to not express their personal opinion(s), publicly or privately, positively or negatively (so long as any criticism is not deliberately inflammatory or mean-spirited in nature), of the executive branch, its administration, government departments, and any other matters or entities without fear of disciplinary action from their department(s), except where their conduct or speech violates relevant law(s) or terms of service.”

SECTION 2C: Section 5 of the Fairer Employment Act shall now state: “Employees shall retain the right to peacefully express or to not express their personal opinion(s), publicly or privately, positively or negatively (so long as any criticism**, opinion, or other comments are** not deliberately disrespectful in nature, as from the eyes of a reasonable person), of the executive branch, its administration, government departments, and any other matters or entities without fear of disciplinary action from their department(s), except where their conduct or speech violates relevant law(s) or terms of service.”

SECTION 3: Should any part of this act or bill be declared unconstitutional or otherwise struck down, the rest shall remain in effect, unless all is struck down or declared unconstitutional.

SECTION 4: This bill shall go into effect as an act of congress upon the completion of the constitutionally required processes.
