A Bill to Make Failure to Yield Illegal
BE IT ENACTED BY THE STATE OF FIRESTONE CONGRESS* HERE ASSEMBLED THAT:
SECTION 1: Citizens of the State of Firestone are required to pull to the right for passing emergency vehicles which have their emergency lights and/or sirens on.
SECTION 2 : Offenders of this bill shall be fined no more than two hundred (200) dollars, and no less than fifty (50) dollars.
SECTION 2B: An emergency vehicle is defined as a police vehicle, ambulance or fire truck. These vehicles may have flashing Red, White, Blue, or a combination of these and/or a siren.
SECTION 3: The Firestone State Patrol, Stapleton County Sheriff’s Office, and the Department of Homeland Security shall be responsible for enforcing this legislation.
SECTION 4: This legislation shall go into effect immediately upon passage.
SECTION 5: All laws in conflict with this legislation are hereby declared null and void.
