A Bill to Allow National Guard to Support SCFD
BE IT ENACTED BY THE STATE OF FIRESTONE CONGRESS HERE ASSEMBLED THAT:
SECTION 1A: For the purposes of this bill, ‘National Guard Duty Act’ shall be defined as Trello.
SECTION 2A: Section 4C of National Guard Duty Act currently states: “The Firestone National Guard may be requested by any other Law Enforcement Agency when absolutely necessary for an emergent situation, for a maximum of three (3) hours; as such, their jurisdiction shall be temporarily extended during this time. The Governor of Firestone must be informed this has happened – and may end this deployment at any time.”
SECTION 2B: Section 4C of National Guard Duty Act shall now state: “The Firestone National Guard may be requested by any other Law Enforcement Agency when absolutely necessary for an emergent situation, for a maximum of three (3) hours; as such, their jurisdiction shall be temporarily extended during this time. The Governor of Firestone must be informed this has happened – and may end this deployment at any time. Additionally, members of the Stapleton County Fire Department or Firestone Department of Health may request medical assistance from medically qualified members of the National Guard. “Medically qualified” shall be considered as those members of the National Guard holding the appropriate certifications, as determined by the Major General.”
SECTION 3: Should any part of this act or bill be declared unconstitutional or otherwise struck down, the rest shall remain in effect, unless all is struck down or declared unconstitutional.
SECTION 4: This bill shall go into effect upon the completion of the constitutionally required processes.
