In real life, cars usually go up to 120 (regular cars) and up to 180 for sports cars
However, in firestone, cars can only go up to 90, and cars such as crown victoria can only go up to 60,
For comparison, a truck can go at a speed of about 75 in real life, and a crown victoria cant pass that speed when its much smaller then a truck. (Very unrealistic)
ACCELERATION
Acceleration of cars all go at the same rate. This is highly unrealistic and should be fixed.

i get your point, but what i’m trying to say is that it’s super unrealistic for you to compare speeds from Roblox vehicles to speeds of real life vehicles on a 1:1 ratio.
you could’ve worded it better, maybe try to get the ratio from the developers and do your calculations based on that and suggest a reasonable request.
if you want to make it realistic, then the cars we have now are realistic
in real life, nearly any car can outrun a police car
you wanna know why?
lets say they throw on a couple thousand pounds of armor and gear onto a vehicle.
still complaining?
thats why in so many pursuits police have to break off due to their speeds.
granted in real life we have helicopters to relay info to us.
acceleration should def be changed.
Not really cause acceleration SHOULD take a long time to go to max speed, and if you slow down you will have to go back to waiting for it to go to max speed.
Also implementation of car damage should be added for users to be cautious, as stated in:
Realism.
This is the weight of just a Crown Victoria Police Interceptor https://gyazo.com/6a4f3bb26251d9cce8a705d84fea3293
As you can clearly see, this car is heavy as fuck. Therefore police cars should go slower, and maybe have quicker acceleration than criminals to make up for speed. Or they can accelerate from 0-80 fast, but go slowly getting up to their max speed. All for realism.
Even though there is gear, it is harder to outrun a police car in real life (not saying it isn’t possible). This is because they are trained to drive at high speeds and their cars are highly upgraded.
Sports cars/motorcycles are the best chance of escape, but in small towns you never see sports cars (Camaro and Mustang is about all you got). Also people who do run in sports cars can’t handle speed usually and crash out; officers are trained to handle the high speeds that their upgraded cars get. Most pursuits end in real life due to people crashing.
The amount that is upgraded on the car depends on the departments budget. Obviously Firestone would have a high one.
A trunk inventory should be added to police vehicles, and cone and flares should be able to be placed in the trunk as well as a long gun (if SWAT or CRT). or (shotgun for FSP or scso)
Depending on how much cones, flares, or if there is a long gun inside, your vehicle would be able to go either as fast as a civillian vehicle, or slower if there is a lot of equipment.
10 lbs wont make your car go faster by any noticable amount unless its a really poorly made car. @Fastbird4 There was a test done on it on YouTube, some very casual cars outran a dodge charger interceptor. Pretty crazy.
