Business owners, DEMAND ACTION NOW!

That is not what I am proposing, I believe maybe a panic button could be added as suggested by @dadudeds

congress enacting any legislative action to even come close to your outrageous unrealistic request is simply undoable. you’re asking congress to somehow make it more “easy” for business to have protection or means of accessible protection devices/arms for security and protection when you have the most basic options presented to you—which are as follows;

  • contracted security
  • federal protective service
  • cfl

cfl’s are made for you to put in the time for a legal weapon, its as follows: your time = “reward”. not sure how much simpler it can be explained.

although your issue is obviously a reoccurring concern and what that should be talked about, there is absolutely nothing to combat this other than the options that have been here from the start and covers your issue pretty easily.

if every time you host a shift and your employees become targets, then you should stop shifts until you have one of the 3 options given to you met in full capacity, as you’re just constantly placing yourself and employees in danger every time.

Everyone complaining about Congress not doing anything. Yes, it’s sucks being held hostage during every single business shift. However, Congress did the best thing it could and allowed business to allow open carry and then people started complaining about that megalol. Feds private protection company is literally not going to do anything. They just stand there and have their cars parked with ELS flashing and when a criminal does something they just call 911. Honestly the purpose of that security company was to dial 911 megalol. (Evening allowing feds private company to open carry would help prevent hostage sits slightly)

i trust very few people with the power to open carry

fed falls under that group of people I don’t trust

Oh yeah, I agree. Even tho I do sound like a pro open carry supporter I am not. However, I understand and respects both sides argument on why it should be allowed and why it shouldn’t be allowed.

Unfortunately there isn’t much you can do other than get a CFL, request DHS Business Protection (like Clonemep said), or hire your own private security. I will talk to my fellow House and Senate colleagues on what we can do to help. In the mean time I highly recommend getting a CFL.
