Brandishing a Firearm needs to be revised

Misread.

True, but it should still be law. Being a law would allow for us to prosecute them in court. I can’t take someone to court over breaking a policy.

No, she was behind the barricade and moved in front of my vehicle as I got near the base. She did not think I was going to hit her in fact, she prevented me from fully making it to the checkpoint.

Why would you assume a vehicle going 40 sps is about to speed into a base? even if she did, you don’t point a gun at a citizen. She had no reason to think so.

That GIF is not even relevant, it was a different place and time, I posted it in response to an invidual asking if I often times breach FNG, I was showing I do not, but I sometimes mess around with them, bring coffee and be aggressive with it, drive to the base and salute, etc. I did not mind being tazed and it was perfectly justified in that scenario, I personally would not have tazed but I guess she felt her life was in danger. Are you referring to the coffee GIF or the name and badge GIF, I approached in a perfectly reasonable manner, 40 sps is the speed limit in greendale, a weapon again, should not have been pointed at me.

You misunderstood me. I’m saying that whenever any person leaves their home and goes into the public, their life is in danger. And if we treated everyone like a criminal, we would go insane. That was not an insult directed to you, or anyone.

So are you saying that law enforcement dosen’t give a damn about the law? I think it would stop them from doing so. Most leos respect the law, and you are correct I am a felon I can and do break the law. I am not the one who swore oath to protect and serve.

Taking control of a situation is not being disorderly like the ranger in the GIF. if you think it is, you guys need better training on taking control / deescalating.

What does earning respect have to do with anything? I don’t give a damn about being respected. This is a game. I made this post to get this lego game law revised. You are taking this way to serious. How do you know what I do in real life? All of a sudden you know me based of a forum post? Interesting, truly. Yes, I’m pretty sure most people are deciding to sit indoors at this time, COVID19 is no joke ‘cry’, you don’t understand the definition of that word. I am bringing awareness and using those examples to better prove my argument. Unlike a lot of you, I bring facts to my arguments.

So complaining is now a bad thing? Technically, having a post to revise a law is complaining, so I am. And that is again, a lie, you changed my view on open carrying, I clearly posted that in my last reply to you. I have also toned down on my borderline insults due to people pointing them out. I am again, open minded and my opinion remains subject to change. You don’t like the fact that I wont totally agree with you? don’t debate then, that’s how the world works and what makes us unique.

Gosh, you are so ignorant. Again, he got in his face, took the weapon out, and made multiple comments such as ‘what you gonna do’, ‘do something’, ‘yeah thats what I thought you aint gonna do nothing’, and so on. And he did point it. Whether he did it on purpose or not, it happened. And it’s not what I think is bullying, I go off of facts, and by definition, he bullied the citizen.

If by posting my opinion on a law is ‘starting shit’ you seriously got some growing up to do. Not sure if you know what buttercup means but uh, I’m straight bro, and what’s not working? I guess it has not worked yet since it has not been revised but huh, that’s the point in this post??

Didn’t think about that. I made this post to do that as I see most laws under the legislative section. I thought the forums was the best way to get this out there, I was also a little interested to see what the general public thought.

Sure this got your opinion out and made others aware of it, but now it turned into a back-and-forth battle with you and people that do not heed or coincide with your personal views, just saying.

Know whats funny, the big ass sign that you drove past, that says to turn around.

Agreed. But it would be pretty ignorant of me to ignore all of these comments, and I never expected this to turn toxic. I know the firestone community can be some what toxic, but not like this. I’ve already stated a moderator can lock this threat. Bunch of irrelevant comments at this point. sir yes sir

Wha? Never seen a sign that says turn around, if ‘big ass sign’ is the large one that says ‘FIRESTONE NATIONAL GUARD BASE’, or something like that, is what you mean, I am not aware of it stating ‘turn around’, Even so, again, anyone can go up to the check point, and fng personnel has the right to tell us to vacate the area. You are not loitering by law until you have refused to leave when told by authorities. And does a ‘big ass sign’ saying turn around justify a gun being pointed at you? I’d like a image of this ‘turn around’, because I’ve never see it.

Why did I even join in on this argument, nothing but a waste of time

Its pretty common sense that, when there’s a national guard base, with barriers, as well as guardsmen that are obviously armed, you should be nowhere near there. But after reading your post you seem to lack common sense, so I see why you got guns pointed at you, suck it up as every other citizen does.

Its like talking to a wall.

Too right. We get a lot of idiots coming to our base for

  • Visiting
  • Tours
  • Just to annoy us (We end up getting them arrested)
  • Trying to breach

Unless you are these people, you should not even be near FNG Checkpoint on civilian team.

Public access by the way.

it is fine to be armed, I am okay with open carrying.

I can and should be. I was safely arrested by an MP, and I wanted his name and badge, I also wanted a way to speak with MP intelligence but I was kicked off the property before I could ask

How so? this law is poorly written and should be revised, it would be to my knowledge anyone who agrees with this law lacks common sense.

No, I will keep fighting for unjust laws. And I have every right to.

Chaerdude is the only one in my opinion, who has posted a decent fairly respectable argument. When I started this post, I wanted LEOS to not be exuded from open carrying, chaser changed that, and I 100% agree with open carrying. I am more than open to hear others out, anytime anyone dosen’t 100% agree with you all, you whine.

EDIT* illegally arrested, not safely, auto correct.

Why didn’t you ask for their name and badge if you felt it was’t a justified arrest? And not go to a restricted area unwelcome to try and get it.

Those are the authorized citizens meaning, they can loiter and trespass. Any citizen can go to the checkpoint. They will be told to leave without clearance, but if I want to chat with my soldiers, I can do so.

I did ask. He sent me to DOC before I could get it. And again my dude, I can go to the fng checkpoint, they have every right to tell me to turn around, but I can go.

By your logic, I should be a criminal for loitering and trespassing FNG numerous times.

W- I’m not even sure how to answer this…huh…?

if you mean, I worded that bad, they have permission to go on is a better way to word it??..
