An Amendment to Section V of the Bill of Rights
BE IT ENACTED BY THE STATE OF FIRESTONE CONGRESS HERE ASSEMBLED THAT:
SECTION 1: Bill of Rights, Section V currently states: “All individuals shall have the right to remain silent, whereas they cannot be compelled to deliver a testimony that will induce self-incrimination, whether it be to the court of law or law enforcement personnel. No individual shall ever be forced or held to commit any act without the due process of law. Self-incrimination shall be defined as: the exposing of oneself on testimony by making a statement that implicates that they committed a criminal offense or perpetrated something. All individuals shall have the right to not self-incriminate. Criminal defendants in the court of law can refuse to testify. Any testimony that is against one’s will, whereas one was coerced by force or threats to testify against themselves, shall not be admissible as evidence in the court of law.”
SECTION 2: Bill of Rights, Section V shall be amended to state: “All individuals shall have the right to remain silent, whereas they cannot be compelled to deliver a testimony that will induce self-incrimination, whether it be to the court of law or law enforcement personnel. SECTION 4: This legislation shall be brought into law, given that it follows the procedures to do so, as outlined by the Constitution.
