An Amendment to 'CGOC Classification Act'

BE IT ENACTED BY THE STATE OF FIRESTONE STATE LEGISLATURE HERE ASSEMBLED THAT:

SECTION I: The ‘CGOC Classification Act’ shall be amended.

SECTION II: SECTION VII shall be added to the ‘CGOC Classification Act’ and shall state the following:

“The Lieutenant Governor and the Speaker of the House shall have undeniable and unrestricted access to all operations of the Congressional Government Oversight Committee. They shall be required to keep information stored under the Congressional Government Oversight Committee that is officially and legally deemed classified classified. However, if they release any classified information without the consent of the Chairman/Chairwoman that proves that the Congressional Government Oversight Committee engaged an illegal activity, they shall not be charged with ‘Distribution of Classified Information’, and shall be immune to prosecution relating to such. If at any point in time the Lieutenant Governor is a member of the Congressional Government Oversight Committee, the President Pro Tempore shall then be granted the same access as the Lieutenant Governor would, should he/she not be apart of the Congressional Government Oversight Committee. If the President Pro Tempore is also a member of the Congressional Government Oversight Committee, he/she shall then delegate a Senator who is not apart of the Congressional Government Oversight Committee to have the same access as the Lieutenant Governor would, should he/she not be apart of the Congressional Government Oversight Committee. If at any point in time the Speaker of the House is a member of the Congressional Government Oversight Committee, the Speaker Pro Tempore shall then be granted the same access as the Speaker of the House would, should he/she not be apart of the Congressional Government Oversight Committee. If the Speaker Pro Tempore is also a member of the Congressional Government Oversight Committee, he/she shall then delegate a Representative who is not apart of the Congressional Government Oversight Committee to have the same access as the Speaker of the House would, should he/she not be apart of the Congressional Government Oversight Committee. The committee shall be obligated to make all hearings public, and publicly inform people at the beginning of the investigation that an investigation has commenced, who it is on, and what possible charges, wrongdoings, or anything necessary to investigate on.”

SECTION III: The State of Firestone State Legislature shall enforce this law.

SECTION IV: The ‘CGOC Classification Act’ shall be defined as: CGOC Classification Act
