Just stop using the excuse that it’s “legal”. Not everything legal is fucking right ya know, majority of the department is against it and you still think it’s right with “your visions”. Man fuck that, you never ran SCSO before, if you wanted to fix it you go up to their faces and say you don’t like it. People who are the best at something gets constructive criticism, not a termination not knowing what they could’ve done to improve.
