A Bill to Update the Established Road Laws

BE IT ENACTED BY THE STATE OF FIRESTONE CONGRESS HERE ASSEMBLED THAT:

Section 1: This legislation shall recognize & update the laws for motor vehicles & bikes.

Section 2: Law enforcement agencies shall be required to follow all road laws along with non law enforcement agencies including citizens or tourists. If a traffic law is worth to be broken by a citizen, then he or she can receive a traffic ticket depending on severity of the law broken. If anyone who is currently in service on the streets that is working for a department shall not be exempt from breaking any traffic laws, which means if he or she is worth to break a traffic law, then he or she shall be brought up to his or her’s superior(s) to be dealt with. Law enforcement agencies shall also be required to follow this even when patrolling on the streets, meaning that if a law enforcement officer is intentionally breaking traffic laws while on duty, then he or she shall also be brought up to their superior(s).

Section 2A: Law enforcement agencies shall be defined as the following:

Section 2B: Non law enforcement agencies shall be defined as the following:

Firestone Department of Public Works: Firestone Department of Public Works - Roblox

Section 2C: Citizens/tourists of Firestone shall be recognized as:

Section 2D: A Bill to Establish More Road Laws (Revised): [https://forum.roblox.com/Forum/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=198809851]: Shall have additional traffic laws added and updated. Additional laws shall be recognized as: U-turns on roads with medians, following an emergency vehicle responding to a call, tailgating, disabled (tire(s), and dangerous driving.

Section 2E: The following shall be updated:

‘Running a Red Light’ is defined as an operator of a motor vehicle completely going through and ignoring a red traffic light unless he/she is turning right or is forced to pass through by an emergency vehicle, maintenance issues, et cetera. Violators will be fined no less than fifty (50) dollars and no more than eighty (80) dollars.

‘Failure to Yield’ is defined as an operator of a motor vehicle/bicycle failing to stop for emergency vehicles, pedestrians, and other motor vehicles, et cetera when necessary. Violators will be fined no less and no more than fifty (50) dollars.

‘Failure to Drive on the Right Side of the Road’ is defined as an operator of a motor vehicle/bicycle failing to drive on the right side of the road unless forced to by an obstruction such as a roadblock, emergency, et cetera. Violators will be fined no less than fifty (50) dollars and no more than eighty (80) dollars.

‘Careless Driving’ is defined as an operator of a motor vehicle/bicycle unintentionally disregarding traffic laws. Violators will be fined fifty (50) dollars.

‘Reckless Driving’ is defined as an operator of a motor vehicle/bicycle intentionally disregarding traffic laws. Violator will be fined one-hundred twenty-five (125) dollars.

‘Road Obstruction’ is defined as a road user or operator of a motor vehicle/bicycle blocking municipal roads. Violators will be fined not less than one-hundred (100) dollars and no more than one-hundred fifty (150) dollars.

‘Road Obstruction on the Highway’ is defined as a road user or operator of a motor vehicle/bicycle blocking state highways. Violators will be fined in the range of two-hundred fifty (250) and four-hundred (400) dollars.

‘Failure to Use Signals’ is defined as an operator of a motor vehicle failing to use turn indicators when switching lanes or turning into a different road as well as hazards. Violators will be fined thirty (30) dollars.

Section 2F: All listed in ‘Section 2D’ shall be updated to:

Running a red light shall be defined as the act of driving through an intersection, street, road, etc; while a red light is appearing on the traffic light. Violators shall receive a traffic fine that ranges from: 60-100 dollars.

Failure to yield shall be defined as the act of failing to stop for pedestrians, vehicles, or emergency vehicles who have their right of way. Violators shall be receive a traffic fine that shall not be higher or lower than: (100 dollars).

Failure to drive on the right side of the road shall be defined as the act of driving on the opposite side of the road into lanes of traffic. Violators shall receive a traffic fine that ranges from: (100-150 dollars).

Careless driving shall be defined as the act of unintentionally disregarding the rules of the road while driving. Violators shall receive a traffic fine that shall not be higher or lower than: (110 dollars).

Reckless driving shall be defined as the act of intentionally disregarding the rules of the road while driving. Violators shall receive a traffic fine that ranges from: (100-200 dollars).

Road obstruction shall be defined as the act of intentionally or unintentionally blocking lanes of traffic on the road. Violators shall receive a traffic fine that shall not be higher or lower than: (50 dollars).

Failure to use signals shall be defined as the act of switching lanes on the road without showing any indication with your turn signals that show that you’re going to switch lanes. Violators shall receive a traffic fine that shall not be higher or lower than: (60 dollars).

Doing U-turns on roads with medians.

Dangerous driving.

Following an emergency vehicle.

Tailgating

Disabled tire(s)

Section 2H: All stated in ‘Section 2G’ shall be defined as:

Doing U-turns on roads with medians shall be defined as: The act of doing a U-turn on a road with a median when you’re supposed to either turn left/right depending on the side of the road you’re on. Violators shall be receive a traffic fine that shall not be higher or lower than: (100 dollars).

Dangerous driving shall be defined as: Disregarding the order of the roadway, or the safety and well being of others. Violators shall be receive a traffic fine that shall not be higher or lower than: (200 dollars).

Following an emergency vehicle shall be defined as: The act of intentionally following an emergency vehicle that is responding to any sort of call while having their lights & sirens on. Violators shall receive a traffic fine that ranges from: (150-200 dollars).

Tailgating shall be defined as: The act of driving a vehicle too closely to another vehicle. Violators shall be receive a traffic fine that shall not be higher or lower than: (70 dollars).

Driving a motor vehicle with disabled tires shall be defined as: The act of driving a vehicle with flat tires. Violators shall be receive a traffic fine that shall not be higher or lower than: (60 dollars).

Section 2I: The following in this legislation shall have additional information added (https://forum.roblox.com/Forum/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=197998154):

SECTION 2A. All citizens operating a Bicycle must remain on the right side of the road.

SECTION 2B. All citizens operating a Bicycle must remain on the complete-right side of the road. Exceptions to this include, but not limited to: When turning left, when turning a U-Turn, etc.

SECTION 2D. All citizens operating a Bicycle must yield to pedestrians.

SECTION 2F. All players operating a motor vehicle or a Bicycle must share the road.

SECTION 2H. All citizens operating a Bicycle without any sort of lights at the front and at the back of the bicycle may not operate during the night.

SECTION 2I. All citizens operating a Bicycle may not operate on a Highway or Highway Ramp.

Section 2J: The following stated in ‘Section 2I’ shall have consequences added to the sections stated below as additional information:

Section 2A: All citizens operating a bicycle must remain on the right side of the road. Violators shall receive a fine that will not go higher or lower than: (50 dollars).

Section 2B: All citizens operating a bicycle must remain on complete-right side of the road. Exceptions to this include, but not limited to: When turning left, when turning a U-Turn, etc. Violators shall receive a fine that will not go higher or lower than: (50 dollars).

Section 2D: All citizens operating a Bicycle must yield to pedestrians. Violators shall receive a fine that will not go higher or lower than: (50 dollars).

Section 2F: All players operating a motor vehicle or a Bicycle must share the road. Violators shall receive a fine that will not go higher or lower than: (50 dollars).

Section 2H: All citizens operating a Bicycle without any sort of lights at the front and at the back of the bicycle may not operate during the night. Violators shall receive a fine that will not go higher or lower than: (60 dollars).

Section 2I: All citizens operating a Bicycle may not operate on a Highway or Highway Ramp. Violators shall receive a fine that will not go higher or lower than: (50 dollars).

Section 3: This legislation shall be enforced by the Firestone State Patrol, Stapleton County Sheriff’s Office, Department of Corrections, and Department of Homeland security. If law enforcement officers decide to intentionally break traffic laws while not responding to calls shall be reported and brought up to their HICOM.

Section 4: This legislation shall go into effect twenty-four hours after passage.

Section 5: All laws in conflict with this legislation are hereby declared null and void.
