A BILL TO REQUIRE FORUM FORMAT
Preamble
Allows Arborfield to make legislation on forums.
THE PEOPLE OF ARBORFIELD ENACT THE FOLLOWING
SECTION 1
This document shall be legally empowered and binding upon the completion of the process set out by the City Charter.
SECTION 2
Should any part of this document be struck down and/or declared unenforceable, then that part shall be severed with the rest remaining in full force and effect unless all is struck down and/or declared unenforceable.
SECTION 3
(a) “A Bill to Require PDF Format” is to be declared null and void.
(b) Firestone Forums is to be defined here.
(c) “Legal writing” can be defined as legislation, expulsions, resolutions, amendments, impeachments, and any other legal writing pertaining to the City Council and its functions.
SECTION 4
Any submissions of legislation, resolutions, impeachments, expulsions, amendments, mayoral decrees, nominations, and other legal documents pertaining to the City of Arborfield’s Legislative branch or its Executive branch, as prescribed by the City Charter, shall not be accepted unless presented in a Firestone Forums post under the designated category.
SECTION 5
Submissions of legal documents by the Arborfield City Council must be submitted in a Firestone Forums format post on its corresponding Trello card on the Arborfield City Council Trello using the provided bill template found in the Arborfield City Council trello.
SECTION 5A
The Arborfield City Council Trello is defined here.
SECTION 6
This bill shall be enforced by the Mayor, Deputy Mayor, Council Chairperson, and the Arborfield City Attorney.
SECTION 7
The Arborfield Clerk Office shall have 72 (seventy-two) hours upon this bill going into effect to convert any active legislation, mayoral decrees, or any other legal documentation specified in Section 4.
SECTION 8
This ordinance shall go into effect upon the ability for municipalities to use the Firestone Forums for legislative duties and when this bill passes the legislative process.
