A Bill to Redefine Interfering With an Officer

A Bill to Redefine Interfering With an Officer

PREAMBLE: Currently the definition allows the arrest of an individual for technically anything that would "distract" an officer, being much too vague.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE STATE OF FIRESTONE CONGRESS HERE ASSEMBLED THAT:

SECTION 1: “A Bill to Recognize More Crimes” shall be amended.

SECTION 2: “A Bill to Recognize” More Crimes" shall be defined as: A Bill to Recognize More Crimes

SECTION 3A: Section 2C of “A Bill to Recognize More Crimes” currently states: “Interfering with an Officer shall be defined as: committing any sort of action that distracts, interferes, or endangers an Officer in the State of Firestone.”

SECTION 3B: Section 2C of “A Bill to Recognize More Crimes” shall now state: “Interfering with an Officer shall be defined as: committing any sort of action that interferes, endangers or detours a law enforcement officer while they are performing their duties.

SECTION 4: The governor of the State of Firestone shall enforce this legislation.

SECTION 5: This legislation shall go into effect immediately upon passing both chambers of Congress.
