A BILL
to Redefine Academies
BE IT ENACTED BY THE STATE OF FIRESTONE CONGRESS HERE ASSEMBLED THAT:
SECTION 1. Should a group be recognized as an “academy” of the State of Firestone, it shall be under the Executive Branch of Firestone.
(a) “Firestone Peace Officer Standards and Training”, otherwise regarded as POST,
shall be recognized as an official academy of Firestone, found here:

(b) “Firestone Infantry Training and Education”, otherwise regarded as FITE, shall be
recognized as an official academy of Firestone, found here:

SECTION 2. The Governor shall be considered the official Head of each academy, and is able to make administrative decisions within each academy as such.
SECTION 3.
(a) The Firestone Peace Officer Standards and Training academy shall be managed by a
Director, nominated by the Governor and confirmed of (with a simple majority) by
the Senate. The POST Director is a member of the Cabinet.
(b) The Firestone Infantry Training and Education academy shall be managed by the
Firestone National Guard Major General.
SECTION 4. This legislation shall go into effect immediately.
SECTION 5. All laws in conflict with this legislation are hereby declared null and void.
