PREAMBLE
This legislation will allow the Department of Commerce to fully regulate their businesses as well as allow businesses to obtain plots within Stapleton County. Business regulations within the county will demand for developer interference, as offered by Co-Founder GetEnveloped.
SECTION 1 - DEPARTMENT GROUP RECOGNITION
The Department of Commerce shall be recognized as Firestone Department of Commerce - Roblox.
SECTION 2A - DUTIES OF THE DEPARTMENT
The Department of Commerce (“Commerce”, “DoCM”, “DOCM”) shall be tasked with the management of commercial businesses and companies within the State of Firestone. The Department of Commerce shall be responsible for all government and privately owned property and the distribution of such.
SECTION 2B - EXEMPTIONS
Law Firms shall be exempt from this legislation. Should such business wish to obtain property within the State of Firestone, property management shall be the responsibility of the Department of Commerce.
SECTION 2C - BUSINESS OPERATIONS
Any business, company, or privately owned group that wishes to operate within the State of Firestone shall seek approval from the Department of Commerce. Should a business, company, or privately owned group operate within the State of Firestone without appropriate approval from the Department of Commerce, they shall be found guilty of “Operation of a business without a license.”
SECTION 2D - PLOT MANAGEMENT
The Department of Commerce shall be responsible with handling available business plots provided within the Stapleton County by the Developers. Such plot shall be government property leased to the respective business owner. The Department of Commerce may impose appropriate regulations on such plot in conjunction with the appropriate business owner.
SECTION 2E - BUSINESS SHUTDOWNS
The Department of Commerce shall have the power to suspend or shut down any business operations within the State of Firestone for any plausible reason given by the Department of Commerce. The Department of Commerce shall have the power to establish regulations and/or directives concerning businesses and their operations.
SECTION 2F - BUSINESS INSPECTIONS
The Department of Commerce shall have the power to inspect all businesses operating within the State of Firestone. They shall have unrestricted access to any plot leased to the business for any reasons.
SECTION 3A - CRIMES
“Operation of a business without a license” shall be a misdemeanor which can result in a fine up to $400.00. A second penalty can result in a fine up to $600.00. A third penalty can result in an imprisonment up to 360 seconds (6 minutes) in State Prison.
SECTION 3B - ENFORCEMENT OF CRIMES
The Department of Homeland Security, Firestone State Patrol,and Stapleton County Sheriff’s Office shall enforce “Operation of a business without license” as stated in Section 3A.
SECTION 4 - DEFINITIONS
The Department of Homeland Security shall be defined as: Firestone Department of Homeland Security - Roblox. The Firestone State Patrol shall be defined as: Groups - Roblox Stapleton County Sheriff’s Office shall be defined as: Stapleton County Sheriff's Office - Roblox.
SECTION 5 - ENFORCEMENT
This legislation shall be enforced by the State of Firestone Congress, Department of Commerce, and any other respective agency involved.
SECTION 6 - NULLIFICATION
“Department of Commerce Act” (Department of Commerce Act) shall be declared null and void.
SECTION 7 - EFFECTIVE DATE
Upon passage, this legislation shall go into effect immediately.
