A Bill to make standing on top of traffic lights or light poles illegal
Preamble: Many times in Stapleton County, we see citizens going on top of light poles or traffic lights, and wasting LEOs and SCFD’s time. This legislation stops this.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE STATE OF FIRESTONE CONGRESS* HERE ASSEMBLED THAT:
SECTION 1: A bill to make standing on top of traffic lights or light poles shall be established.
SECTION 2: Traffic lights shall be defined as: A set of automatically operated colored lights, typically red, amber, and green, for controlling traffic at road junctions and crosswalks.
Section 2A: Light poles shall be defined as: A street light, lamppost, street lamp, light standard, or lamp standard is a raised source of light on the edge of a road or walkway, which is turned on or lit at a certain time every night.
SECTION 3: First offense will be a citation of $150 - $350 for Violating this bill. The second offense will be a misdemeanor of 300 seconds - 500 seconds for Violating this bill. If they refuse to get off, they shall be arrested for a misdemeanor of 400 - 600 seconds for Violating this bill, and failure to comply.
SECTION 4: All departments with the power to cite and arrest shall enforce this legislation.
SECTION 5: Upon passage from the State of Firestone Congress this legislation shall go into effect immediately.
