A Bill to make DOC Secondary
BE IT ENACTED BY THE STATE OF FIRESTONE CONGRESS HERE ASSEMBLED THAT:
SECTION 1: “A Bill for Secondary Jobs” shall be amended.
SECTION 2: Whereas Section 2A in “A Bill for Secondary Jobs” states:
“All positions within the following departments, excluding the exceptions
mentioned, shall be considered a ‘secondary’ job:
i. Department of Health
ii. Department of Transportation
iii. Department of Public Works
iv. Department of Aviation
v. Department of Boating and Waterways
vi. Department of Commerce
vii.The Stapleton County Government (except: County Executive)
viii. Any other department or position regarded as a “secondary” job as set by the
state legislature”
SECTION 2A: Section 2A in “A Bill for Secondary Jobs” will now state:
“All positions within the following departments, and governments excluding the exceptions
mentioned, shall be considered a ‘secondary’ job:
i. Department of Health
ii. Department of Transportation
iii. Department of Public Works
iv. Department of Aviation
v. Department of Boating and Waterways
vi. Department of Commerce
vii. Department of Corrections (except: Warden)
viii.The Stapleton County Government (except: County Executive)
ix. Any other department or position regarded as a “secondary” job as set by the
state legislature”
SECTION 2B: This bill will also make it so that members of the DOC required to only accept applicants who have passed at least Tier 3 in the Firestone Peace Officers and Standards Training (POST). The Department of Corrections may make this requirement higher, but not lower than tier 3 of POST, at their discretion.
SECTION 2C: All members currently in DoC will have 1 month after this bill is signed to pass at least Tier 3 in the Firestone Peace Officers and Standards Training (POST).
SECTION 3: The Governor of the State of Firestone shall enforce this legislation.
SECTION 4: This legislation shall go into effect immediately.
SECTION 5: All laws in conflict with this legislation are hereby declared null and void.
