A Bill to Finalize Government Succession
SECTION 1: This Bill shall finalize the order in which the succession of the Governor is undergone.
SECTION 2: This Bill shall overturn all previous legislature regarding Gubernatorial Succession.
SECTION 2B: Legislature regarding Gubernatorial Succession shall be defined as;
A Bill to Fix the Gubernatorial Succession (retired)
A Bill to Fix the Gubernatorial Succession
Repeal and Replacement of the Gubernatorial Succession Act
A Bill to Amend the Gubernatorial Succession Act
Gubernatorial Succession Act
SECTION 3: Should for reasons, including but not limited to: death, resignation, removal from office, simple vacancy, or there is no Governor capable of discharging the duties the office of Governor of Firestone; then on the following list, said member holding the highest position shall become the Governor of Firestone:
i. Lieutenant Governor
ii. Speaker of the House
iii. President pro tempore
iv. Secretary of the Department of State
v. Attorney General
vi. Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security
vii. Secretary of the Department of Defense
viii. Major General of the Firestone National Guard
ix. Secretary of the Department of Public Safety
x. Director of the Firestone Bureau of Investigation
xi. Colonel of the Firestone State Patrol
xii. Secretary of the Department of Health
xiii. Secretary of the Department of Commerce
xiv. Secretary of the Department of Transportation
xv. Secretary of the Department of Aviation
xvi. Secretary of the Department of Boating & Waterways
xvii. Secretary of the Department of Public Works
xviii. Director of the Firestone Peace Officer Standards and Training
xix. Director of the Firestone Fire Academy
SECTION 4: Upon the passage of this legislation, all articles under “SECTION 2B” shall be
deemed null and void.
SECTION 5: Upon undergoing the Constitutional procedure required, this legislation shall be signed into law.
