County Executive is something to work up to, you’re jumping in the deep end here, not an entry level political position, you’d be drowning by the off chance you even got elected.
I’d recommend running for lower office first, just like everyone else has recommended.
For perspective, I’ve been a Firestone Politician for 2 years, Legislative Leadership, I’ve been a Mayor before, and CE was still a stressful job, can’t imagine what it’d be like for someone who’s never had any experience in Firestone or elsewhere in government.
