I was hoping that we’d be able to shoot the officer and kill him while they have a person in their vehicle for transport to the station-

So basically off duty crime will be allowed before full release, if you’re a LEO?

This will never function. At our current rate with just 55 person servers with like 8 LEOs each, tens of arrests get made hourly. Bump that up to even larger servers with more LEOs, that goes drastically. By the end of the day there would be thousands of arrests. We don’t, nor will ever have, enough people who want to be judges and are competent to handle that. The max judges we’ve ever had in state history was low ten. What you’re asking would take the size of a real life judicial district. And believe it or not, most 15 year olds don’t like court RP because it’s hard, time consuming, and not flashy. Then the next day comes and it’s a thousand more. Furthermore, how is this logistically supposed to work? Out of those thousands of arrests, court processes Constitutionally can’t occur without proof. Maybe a 10th of those will have feasible proof, but then that’s still a hundred trials. We don’t nor will ever have enough lawyers, judges, prosecutors, to handle that. Nothing short of clicking accept all on the courts group and ranking everyone to judge will make this function.

To be honest, I am siked for V3. Just from reading this and seeing current progress, I 100% believe this. I dunno what V3 is going to come out to but whatever it is, i’m excited for it.

The judiciary should be secondary. We only have a hand-full of attorneys in the state (approx. 20) — a fraction of those work for an understafffed DOJ and 4-5 of those work as a judge. In our state’s history, we have never filled up the Supreme Court and the District Court entirely (we currently have a non-functional 2-man Supreme Court and a partially staffed District Court).

I’m hoping law school will help bring in more attorneys to the state but the legal community is so far behind from a state like Mayflower — which has a full Supreme Court bench, full District Court bench, and a thriving DOJ. They have about 60 attorneys in their state, a state-wide law school, and their judiciary is secondary.

Nobody wants to leave the Executive or Legislative branch for the Judiciary, unless they have nothing else to do within the state and/or have deteriorating activity.

You just ordered the simplification of the fire academy’s curriculum… This results in role-play being less fun and less realistic. How exactly is this holding to a high standard of training and education?

Well said, that is something that I have experienced in other states as well. Unfortunately, ā€œlegalā€ or ā€œadministrativeā€ work is not as fun/interesting for the vast majority of individuals as, say, a law enforcement position. Even with a functioning law school, these positions in other branches need to be appealing and shouldn’t come down to ā€œDo I want to catch criminals and get action or just bicker with people in court?ā€

Now there should be obvious exceptions like you can not hold a high-level executive position and a judicial position at the same time (wouldn’t want the Governor to be a judge), but just letting LRs hold positions has no harm IMO.

This is going to be a really good era. We are possibly going to be more advanced then other counties since we will have houses, ragdoll animations, car scripts, and more! Can’t wait until I patrol v3 (When I get fully trained on the v3 tech first)

Currently, citizens come to the Department of Justice with a complaint, the Department of Justice reviews said complaint, and then the Department of Justice decides if we should prosecute or not. If we do decide to, we file it to the District Court.

Not everything ends up in the Courts. The Courts have a higher standard than a law enforcement officer does when making an arrest. Sometimes there is just not enough evidence. Furthermore, we do not have the manpower to prosecute for every arrest made in a day even if we could be provided with adequate evidence for every single arrest. Nor will we ever have that manpower. Its just too much to ask.

Hi, I am currently apart of DOH and am curious on what you plan on inserting for SCMC’s facilities in v3? Also, any estimated time on when SCMC will be completed?

(Unsure if someone already asked about this)

So would this mean my barrment from public office would be cleared? As well as my blacklist from county departments that every CE seems to reinforce.
