can’t respect individuals who seem to follow their friends opinions without actually gaining insight on an individual. that is what you call brainless behaviour and that is literally the case in politics across the world too! believing in what people stir up and never actually researching anything
The Undersheriff has created a policy which allows him to reassign division members at-will. Instead of promoting interest in the primary patrol division through admissions or public relations, he would rather transfer individuals who have undergone specialist training for their role. Going off his previous trends, this will likely be something he uses as a form of disciplinary action (or threat) against people he gets into disagreements with.
If the patrol division is struggling with members, why is a specialist division still recruiting people, and more importantly, why is the Undersheriff doing so? It doesn’t make sense for the same individual to create a policy on reassigning SWAT Operatives because it contains too many people whilst he actively invites his friends into the division.
Is this him being indecisive or is it him wanting to use his power maliciously?
In a follow-up message, he has come up with a new idea which is to increase the activity requirements for the specialist division. If the division contains too many members, then surely this means that they will have a more active presence compared to if he decreased the member count.
His intended goal isn’t clear and I would like for @DesiringAuthority to clear this all up.
I’m sure he’s going to come off and say “oh it’s just a joke”, but if so, why would you joke about punishing a division of the department’s most elite? Does he not respect his employees or is he just wanting to abuse his power?
the intended goal is if there isn’t an sufficient members within the patrol division those that have a good track record and are willingly able to move they can be moved. this includes PTD too… and for looking for alterative ways to promote the patrol division we are attempting every way and the resort of increasing quota would be the last.
plans such as creating a leo entry system or recruiting back old employees who qualify for reinstatement is another method of tackling this.
