Co-ordinate your resources and you can easily catch an SRT driver. Direct units to different key locations to intercept, actually fucking communicate unlike some LEOs who go minutes without giving an update.
It’s very unlikely someone is going to out run you when there is 3-4 of you in a voice channel giving accurate callouts. VCing makes it easier. I am not going to direct hate to any department in particular but certain departments have better ram bars and better equipment to properly end a pursuit but they lack the communication or map knowledge to be able to organise an intercept point. Instead of 3-5 units pursuing behind an SRT, direct a few of them to take other routes to intercept.

When I was in FSP I never took on a pursuit as the primary or secondary trailing units and always tried to guess where they were going but the lack of communication made it practically impossible to coordinate and intercept.

I know im 4 days late to this, sorry, but yeah no I can agree with you there, theres no point in trailing behind an SRT, you’re not going to catch up to it unless they
a) decide to do a u-turn towards a LEO vehicle.
b) crash or flip
Being able to have the map knowledge to say “ok they’re on the 401, they’re most likely going to either go to prom or turn off to HV/GD so lets go on this route to at least be able to say that they didn’t pass this area so they must’ve went the other direction.”

as a criminal myself I have to say one thing, one reason why SRTs are hard to catch is probably because every LEO in the pursuit follow directly behind the SRT. If they take other routes the criminal has a harder time. I think SCSO should follow the suspect while FSP try to set different spots to spike the suspect (excuse bad spelling on phone)
