SRTs go faster = to give criminals an escaping advantage
If they blow past you = BOLO them or pursue or get ASU on then
Can’t stop them during a pursuit? = coordinate your units and drop spike strips
Went into the hills and you can’t call it out? = not the SRT drivers problem
Why don’t you instead start coordinating with other officers and start establishing various different nicknames for certain areas instead of using super broad terms.
Your not understanding, I can BOLO a grey SRT, but there is more then one grey SRT and your not going to see the driver from 50 studs away. I cant set a BOLO that broad. How the hell am I going to nickname a Hill in the middle of no where?
Looking at the video posted above, Yall cars do go faster than ours their not even the same speed, if anything make them the same speed AT LEAST. You guys are sitting here talking about coordinating with officers as if we have a while Platoon on Duty.
I promise you I do not patrol Redwood,1. I usually Patrol the back roads around Prom, GD, and HV, same with other FSP Troopers, 2. A majority of the calls come from the RW area whether it’s in the city or close enough to the city so yes, most of the units will be around there, there’s nothing I can do about that.
Its a suggestion not bashing criminals or anything because the game is nothing without yall, just pointing out some things out, the game wont be perfect I know, there will forever be an imbalance, I think we should just move on from this topic at this point.
I’m talking about nicknaming certain areas on the map and understanding directional terms of Stapleton County. Per the original map of Firestone courtesy of iLordOfAviation, DPW is the southern most part of Stapleton, which means FNG is the western most part of the map and DOT is the eastern most point. With directional terms, you can start using terms like “east of CD in the hills” or “west CD hills”, etc. As for the BOLO’s, it’s all about getting the individuals description. And beyond that, it’s just something you can’t really stop. SRT’s are an abused game mechanic, I’m guilty of that myself. Employ what tactics you can, but some things are just uncontrollable. Nerfing the only good thing criminals have is not how you solve the problem.
It’s an older map but the concept is applicatory to the issue, nonetheless.
I agree we should move on from the topic, I understand what you’re facing w/ outrunning it and being annoyed by it BUT like canine said nerfing the only things that criminals have isn’t the best thing as it makes everything more unbalanced then it already is
SRTs are the ONLY advantage crims have over LEOS. We all have radios, helicopters, spike strips, pushpars that pop tires, a load of units in game at a time, bulletproof windows, FREE access to automatic weapons and basically unlimited ammunition, etc. By removing one of if not the only advantage criminals have over LEOs, you’re destroying what balance there is between LEOs and criminals. Use the tactics and equipment at your disposal to catch an SRT, trust me you have alot of it. Not only that, but you’re apart of a team with plenty of players, use 'em.

There doesn’t need to be a world in which law enforcement has every single advantage. Use the power of team, spike strips, ASU, and coordination to properly organize a pursuit you can win. The outcomes can be favorable if you so incline.
I’m with lidels on this one, the only advantage the criminals in the community have at this point is the speed of the SRT. There’s so many things that the departments have from tear gas, to attack dogs, and spike strips, as well as normally they do hold the numbers advantage as well.
