As we all know, FSP has 2 division, Specialised Patrol and ASU. Although SCSO only has one, as the Traffic Division has been abolished.[RIP]. I have been thinking that we too, could have our own ASU since there is indeed Sheriff Helicopters in real life: [Click here for picture]
They could do similar duties, the only difference being their jurisdictions. SCSO: ASU could be for patroling RW and other towns while ASU is for highways.
[This might be a dumb discussion but I’ll like to know what you guys think.]

The Specialized Patrol Unit has been disbanded too and made a Certification. FSP has ASU and SCSO has SWAT. That’s one main division per Department and in my opinion the most fair way to do it.

Each department have one official and endorsed division from the Founder. SCSO got SWAT and FSP got ASU. No need to unbalance that.

The department doesn’t need ASU. It will cause conflict with FSP’s ASU and will disrupt how the department currently runs in a way I don’t want it to. SCSO is fine with just SWAT as it’s primary division.

I do not think SCSO should have an ASU do to the fact we already have FSP ASU and there will be many helicopters in the sky which will create more chaos. SCSO already has many divisions which are working around the clock to protect the citizens of Firestone and they have a SWAT team which are prepared to use advanced tactics to bring people to justice. They can surely have more vehicles but no air support.
