Passenger Identification Act of 2022

To improve the current laws that are meant to protect passengers of motorized vehicles.

Be it enacted by the Senate and the House of Representatives of the State of Firestone in Congress assembled,

§1. Title
(a) This Act shall be known, and may be cited as, the “Passenger Identification Act of 2022”.

§2. Enactment
(a) This Bill shall go into effect as an Act of Congress upon completing processes constitutionally required.

§3. Severability
(a) Should any part of this Act be struck down and/or declared unenforceable, then that part shall be severed with the rest remaining in full force and effect unless all is struck down and/or declared unenforceable.

§4. Enforcement
(a) This Act shall be enforced by any relevant parties.

§5. Definitions
(a) The “Passenger Identification Act” shall be defined as this

(b) A “passenger” shall be defined as an individual who is occupying, but not operating, a motorized vehicle.

§6. Repealments
(a) The Passenger Identification Act shall be repealed in its entirety and declared null and void.


§7. Information
(a) A passenger of a motorized vehicle obtains the inalienable right to refuse to provide identification to a law enforcement officer upon request, unless the law enforcement officer obtains reasonable suspicion or probable cause to request the passenger’s identification.

(b) This Act may not be applied to circumstances ex post facto.
