Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in the State of Firestone in Congress assembled,
PREAMBLE
To allow law enforcement to utilize their vehicles to remove obstructing vehicles within roadways, or obstructing other traffic pathways.
SECTION I. SHORT TITLE; EFFECTIVE DATE.
(a) This bill may be cited as, “Move Your Vehicle or Have it Done For You Act”
(b) This act will go into effect once passing the Constitutionally required criteria, and upon acquiring the Governor’s signature.
SECTION II. ADDITION TO FCC CHAPTER 4, SECTION 3.
(a) The Firestone Criminal Code shall be defined as; Criminal Code Revision Act (R)
(b) Chapter 4, Section 3 Subsection (a) of the Firestone Criminal Code shall have a subsection added under it titled “(a2)” which shall state the following: “An on-duty law enforcement officer may utilize their patrol vehicle to move a vehicle obstructing the way of traffic on a roadway, parking lot, gas pump, or another traffic pathway, under the circumstances that: no tow trucks operated by the Department of Transportation are available, no bystanders nearby own the vehicle, and the vehicle’s owner is nowhere to be found after at most two minutes, or the vehicle’s owner was arrested at most two minutes prior to the vehicle being discovered by an on-duty law enforcement officer.”
( c ) Chapter 4, Section 3 Subsection (a) of the Firestone Criminal Code shall have a subsection added under it titled “(a3)” which shall state the following: “An on-duty Law Enforcement Officer within the circumstances listed within clause (a) of this section shall be absolved from being charged with this unlawful criminal act.”
