when i first joined fs the fastest car was 10 gears and the LEO cars were 10 gears so it was somewhat ok.
however,
since leo cars are 11 gears now and the fastest cars are ridiculously fast, i think the cv should be 9 gears.
makes it more fun for newcomers and would encourage them to play the game a little more if LEOs cant catch up so quickly

So, is the number of gears the only thing that differentiates the cars speed-wise? Haven’t played SC in a minute but from what I remember I think it’s 10+ per gear. So wouldn’t that mean every car has the same amount of torque (unless those values are different on higher-end vehicles)? I think v3 (wishful thinking) should change this and add more variables to the mix like base horsepower, base torque, induction type (N/A or forced induction), and the drivetrain (AWD, RWD, FWD). For even more variety, add the ability to modify cars at auto shops (replace N/A with forced induction/turbos, free-flowing exhaust for sound and slight gains, ECU tunes for gains (required turbo), etc.) And finally, with all these factors, each car would have differences in fuel consumption (more variety!) so a modified vehicle with a turbo and tune would gap a stock one but suffer from a bad fuel economy, and vice versa.

The game is dead because it’s a literal cops and robbers map. Making cars faster won’t solve the problem here.

well if people want to continue doing crime then theyre going to have to get away from a pursuit or theyre going to have to spend 15 minutes in jail constantly
but u have to understand that us LEOs can only role-play if criminals give us a rp situation like domestic violence or proper scenario. however, criminals them said to me that setting rps boring and requires time and not worth the hustle. (which I understand) they’d rather buy a gun and shoot some leos and lead a chase and then call it a day.
