Why would people not care about giving me credit if it was something functional? They should be appreciating the thing that I took time out of my life to create them. Instead I just got a lot of hatred from the so called “department”. I can bet you that the WSAR\S&R documents are the same from when Swag left SCFD.

The documents also did have my signature on them when I left but we’re probably tampered with.

Also who in the hell are you to tell me what I deserve credit for and what I don’t? Last time I checked you weren’t anything special but I could be mistaken??

probably because the interpretation is that the tc was already functional before you fucked with it lmao
i very much prefer just getting in the drivers seat and going instead of doing a fucking brain teaser to just unlock the seat…

because you were toxic maybe?? man i have no idea.

and who are you to constantly shit on people for things that don’t exist other than your little biases and disagreements?

Please don’t use this as a forum for arguments. I get people’s opinions and all but it’s not really contributing anything to the thread.

honestly, at first, medical roleplay was not really appealing to me, as I really just saw it as a bunch of notes that you had to remember, overall it was too much roleplay.

however, after successfully completing ffa and later on scfd, I actually enjoyed my time in medic 78 with ms zoie (<3) and in the scfd community as a whole. it felt very welcoming, ESPECIALLY during my candidacy.

unfortunately, it went downhill after that, due to multiple reasons. whenever I was in the county, i didn’t really get any good calls within the hour that i was there for. like i guarantee that half of my logs say “n/a” or just something basic for its description. additionally, there’s a lot of pressure for you to be perfect in scfd. yes, you don’t want to get slapped with a medical malpractice charge, but at the same time, it was the community’s own people that were the most judgemental. and my last reason was a combo of both, as i felt unmotivated to continue as a paramedic.

im not sure who mentioned it, but scfd, like the judicial area, can only really function with people passionate about it. now, of course there’s more issues that may be apart of that, but overall a lot of people don’t like typing out a dictionary of medical terms in county, when u could legit just take an emt course irl and get more hands-on experience and benefit from that.

oh no there was a lot more than that lol

Yeah, it is disappointing that civs tend to not do many calls and the ones they do aren’t very interesting. I think it’s easier now to learn when you’re in scfd and you’re not as likely to get sued for malpractise for not being perfect. Recently my shifts have had lots more variation, but it’s still an issue that civs do the same calls when we’re on and sometimes there’s no calls for ages.

If you can’t even turn on the ignition in a damn fire truck then you shouldn’t be fucking driving. It’s not hard. Battery and starter and then it goes on. Clearly you have no experience with fire apparatus.

I have lots to say about you but I’m not gonna say it because I pretty much know people would understand what I’m referring to.

(Okay, when I saw this it made me want to vomit. The fire service is not about getting gold on your uniform and the way that they said this and how they said this to the public was a complete embarrassment and misrepresentation of the department. When you progress ranks you obtain bugles and the more you have means the more of a voice you have in the department.

The way they worded this made it sound greedy, selfish, and like all they care about is gold.)

I’m toxic?? Your strong pride in your self has decided to take a friend I had for a while and turn them against me to the point where they ignored me and basically unfriended me. So never mind me being at all toxic I think it’s all aimed at you now.

Would appreciate if a mod could close this thread as the replies aren’t useful anymore.

I wasn’t planning on responding to your messages range, but since this caught my attention I might aswell.

A point that was made earlier on this thread, was that newly certified members e.g. candidates (in this case, the newly FF certified antonio) that are fresh out of the fire academy are held to a higher standard than they should be, though this shouldn’t be the case. In the department’s policy volume 1, I specifically wrote down that members are to be re-trained prior to the enactment of disciplinary action or other measures such as certificate suspensions or revokes.

After those pictures were brought to my attention, Assistant Chief Antonio was mandated to re-train on FFA FF tiers 3 and 4, which he did under the direct supervision of the FFA Director Crosslay, and I.

Antonio performed up to the academy’s standard, and as Crosslay said at the end of the retraining session, “I see no reason why you cannot operate as a firefighter”.

Everyone has a learning curve, and I personally believe that Antonio took the grasps of firefighting very well, even with such a short notice.

That whole situation was dealt with months ago, you can read up here for the full document addressing the claims of incompetency etc.

Adding onto that, you offered to help Antonio in DM’s, yet you’re bringing it up here against him.
To me it just seems that you’re upset with the department’s current administration. You’ve said multiple times in the past that you “don’t care about SCFD”, yet you’re amongst the first ones to respond with how bad the department is whenever someone mentions the word “SCFD” or “Fire Department”.

If you truly don’t care about the department, then stop constantly providing unconstructive criticism, we do not care.

Your right I don’t care about the department. What I do care about is how you get to take my certs for “violating an oath” that I never took and freedom of speech. But whatever, I don’t really care about SCFD or Firestone for that matter I just like to give my opinions about certain situations and give the facts.

You’re*

Then stop providing all these negative comments/statements and leave everyone be. The fire and EMS community is toxic enough, don’t need your input when you’re not even involved or want to be involved (yet you keep trying to involve yourself).

I am yet to find a singular factual statement from you.

If you care so little please stop with the unhelpful replies. It was meant to give me ideas for PIO but now it’s mostly just you trying to discredit high command’s reputation while telling everyone how little you care. I’ve already asked mods to close the topic. Please don’t reply (and anyone else) unless you actually have something relevant and constructive to say.
