The Firestone Cyclone
FIRESTONE DEPLOYS INTO ATOLL
At approximately 9:45 EST on 2/23/20, Firestone’s Department of Defense made a press release. Following that, at approximately 10:01 PM EST Ash1835, The Governor of Firestone declared a State of Emergency. Following that release, the Firestone National Guard moved to Defcon (3). Rising tensions had prompted a response from Firestone, and that night, citizens from Firestone flooded into the State of Atoll’s game : Palm County. Firestone civilians brought guns and then proceeded to fire at LEO and national guard members that night.
The next day, Atoll had developed retaliatory assets. A missile system was commissioned, and Atoll began to bomb citizens of Firestone. At approximately 3:00 EST, a bill was introduced to declare war on the State of Atoll. Following that, Ash1835 had a emergency Joint-Session, and the declaration of war bill had failed. Ash1835 proceeded to use his executive privilege to deploy FNG troops to Atoll.
Shortly after, a war release was published.
This caused backlash in the community, and some called for his impeachment. A petition had been made on the forums, but it had been too late. FNG had deployed into the State of Atoll, and citizens joined to assist them. Ash1835 was contacted for comments on the citizens fighting for Firestone, and responded with “Not exactly. Citizens were showing their love for the state, but for their safety they should let FNG assist.” We asked if he would consider civilians that saved lives heroes, and he responded with “Not all heroes wear capes.”
Atoll had been shown to have been admin abusing anonymously, and had given themself god mode. They used missiles on their own National Guard base to eliminate FNG that had taken over the base.
At 6:39 EST, an announcement was made in the Firestone State announcements channels that retracted all Firestone National Guard from Atoll’s soil. Both Atoll and Firestone claimed to have won, and it had been made apparent that Firestone was the winner, crippling Atoll. Atoll then proceeded to declare war on the Nation of Aigio, and then retracted the statement saying it was a “Joke”. The message had been changed to “Atoll shits on the shittly little state of Aigio”.
At 8:05 EST, Ash1835 had declared that the state of Atoll and Firestone have agreed to peace, and that the deployment was over. The diplomatic relations at this point with the state of Atoll appears to be neutral, and Mayflower has declined to help either side in this conflict.
