The problem with failing departments, like fed says is, people want to shut them down instead of fixing them. If everyone in FBI knows their job, there would be no problem.

I agree, I also believe a majority of the people who want FBI are new members of the community, that want to have an easier route into a “big boy” position other than DHS or the government.

We have plenty of investigative agencies and there is no purpose in adding another.

Frankly I don’t think there’s anything to fix. You create a department for a purpose that is already extensively covered giving them no real purpose creating a free rank and taking away from the departments that already have these jobs. Even if it’s established it would all depend on the leadership, where is experienced leadership going to come from? IO, and other departments that already exist.

Like I said, FBI would focus on things that are strictly domestic while IO would pick up things both domestic and international.

That’s the problem, People don’t know when to STOP. People keep edging on trying to get the last word or be the last person. As I fully agree the FBI would be very cool to come back we also have to look at the downsides that may come to it. We have to see who is going to run it and if the person running it could run it into the ground. We also have to look at what FBI would get. If they drive around on civ team with no valid proof they are FBI then.
