isn’t this essentially the job of the legislative body in general. our legislators represent our ideas and input on the government. so establishing this union would basically be creating a representative body for another representative body.

we should be able to express ourselves directly to the people we voted into office. we shouldn’t have to go through a union for them to then represent our ideas to the people who should already be doing that.

I will be founding an Anti-Firestone Citizens’ Union. We will be calling it the Citizens of Counties of Phirestone (CCP).

Joke aside, this is really goofy and you can literally just do forum posts on your own. I, like the MASTER NEGOTIATOR that I am, have impacted two pieces of legislation through my EXPERT analysis of TERRIBLE propositions in the state legislature. You dont need a union when you only need to make a big stink on the forums to get stuff done.

At first, I was opposed to this idea, but after I gained thorough insight, it gained my support. This is a great idea and I look forward to its commencement.

honestly i dont care enough to stop something like this but do y’all realize the forums exist… like there is already a place to accomplish what you seek to accomplish. this sounds like a “attention & power” thing bro no CAP!

make sure you fix the apostrophe in the first image. it should be either ‘citizen’s’ or ‘citizens’’ because, I’d assume, you’re trying to represent a number of citizens and not just one!

How will they interact with the citizens besides a Discord and forum posts? Can we expect events to be held and such?

Employees at abusive companies can just complain about their mistreatment on Twitter instead of forming a union to take action too, but is it effective?

The same idea applies here.

stupid take. It’s incredibly easy to get change going on the forums.

congresspersons and executive branch officials regularly look at the forums. it’s actually a very effective way of raising attention.

Events will be held. Events consist of conventions, protests, discussions, public forums, etc.

The discord server has been created. Firestone Citizens' Union
