Employment Act of 2019
PREAMBLE: Whereas, the employment regulations and rights have ambiguities in certain sections and conflictions with the constitution and whereas, the organiziation of said sections should be improved and combined together
BE IT ENACTED BY THE STATE OF FIRESTONE CONGRESS HERE ASSEMBLED THAT:
Section 1: Employment Rights
a) Freedom of Religion: No Employee may be fired or treated unfairly because of their religion.
b) Right from Discrimination: No employee may be fired or treated unfairly because of race, color, sex, age, etc.
c): Right to Information: All employees reserve the right to be informed of any actions taken by the employer brought against said employee such as suspensions, terminations, or investigations. Reasons for these shall also be supplied to the employee.
d) Right to Challenge: All employees reserve the right to challenge any disciplinary action brought against them by the employer, through civil litigation should it violate any sections outlined in this act or other legislations defined in Firestone law.
e) Right from Retaliation: All employees reserve the right to be free from retaliation or otherwise disciplinary action made by an employer for filing a complaint or claim against the employer.
Section 2: Employment Regulations
a): Citizens of the State of Firestone may hold a maximum of one (1) primary job, and a maximum of two (2) secondary jobs within the State of Firestone. There is no limit to how many voluntary jobs an individual may hold.
b)
The following jobs shall be considered primary:
Firestone State Patrol
Firestone Department of Homeland Security
Stapleton County Sheriff’s Office
Stapleton County Fire Department
State Government positions as defined in the constitution.
b1) Should a person hold a government position that corresponds with a department position that they hold defined in Section 2b, 2c or 2d (i.e Secretary of Homeland Security and the Department of Homeland Security) it should not be considered as having two jobs and should only be seen as holding one job.
c)
The Following jobs shall be considered secondary:
Department of Health
Department of Transportation
Department of Public Works
Department of Commerce
Department of Corrections
Department of State
Department of Justice
Department of Public Safety
d)
The following jobs shall be considered voluntary:
Firestone National Guard
Department of Aviation
Peace Officer Standards & Training
All State & County Academies
Section 3: Nullifications
a) An Act to Finalize General Employment Rights defined as; An Act to Finalize General Employment Rights , shall be null and void.
b) A Bill to Finalize Employment Regulations defined as; A Bill to Finalize Employment Regulations , shall be null and void.
Section 4: The Firestone courts and executive branch shall be responsible for enforcing this legislation.
Section 5: This legislation shall go into effect immediately upon passage.
