Over the last few days, there have been quite a few notable events with the Founders (FedoraMasterB98) interacting with the community in some displeasing ways.
To start, I am legitimately convinced the Founders no longer care about the future of the community. I mean, fed even said it for himself that they’re full-throttle on V3. Apparently “full throttle” is promises made and promises delayed. We’re going on a year of delay and we’re only in Alpha. I’ve seen very little progress and I’m losing hope, to be frank.
To put this into more context, this is what @Ogax said beforehand. Others legit added in how it affects them too yet fed is convinced that a broke game is enough to sustain a community while we wait a lifetime for V3 to release. The courts can’t do their job, the Military Police team is still broke, applications are history, and fed’s logical response was that he doesn’t care? As a leader, he should at least be reassuring and backing his community members, not that blunt. I’m not gonna speak for everyone but I joined this community to roleplay because it was notable and had a reputable past. I can’t do the one thing I want to, roleplay, because Fed tries to defend inactivity among the Founders and fail to address the issues. This is a ROLEPLAY community. You can’t do much of that when the game is broke.
Another incident was over the tragic death of Officer Anthony Dia. Fed makes it mandatory for all officers in Firestone to wear mourning bands. Let me just say that not everyone is willing to spend money on virtual Lego cops so not everyone will have mourning bands when it takes fed 1 month to pay people out. Fed says that he will DPS Doktor in response to Doktor making the point that is is not feasible to wear mourning bands on CRT rigs because… there is legit no badge. Not to mention FNG has no mourning bands. Fed wants to fire people because they can’t possibly do as Fed asks.
FedoraMasterB98 is in the constant mindset of “My way or the highway” which as a leader, is a huge issue. For example, Fed is yet again trying to justify a broken game with a trump meme. It is very frustrating when a leader can’t take simple criticism and respond in a decent matter. At least on this forum post something changed. ASU got a concrete block with an H to land near the hospital. Doktor also made that post about how shooting from a helicopter is FRP. Right here fed proves he doesn’t understand V2 tech.
He made an illogical rule that doesn’t hold true in real life. Despite getting told otherwise by others, he recommends repelling down on the 2 stubs per second line. Trust me, you’d be dead before you made it halfway down the line regardless of altitude. He also recommends leaving the hostages with the taker but whatever, that is nitpicking.
Conclusion/tl;dr: The Founder(s) has proven that he does not care about the core value of the community, which is roleplay. V3 has been delayed and delayed and delayed. I question if that day will ever come. He openly expresses his general lack of interest in the current state of the game on multiple occasions. He also tries backing up this flawed FRP logic which we all know how that went. He is closed-minded (“My way or the highway”) and as we’re going into V3, that is the last thing we want. He spends so much time telling others why they’re wrong where he could just listen and better his community.
