There’s also this really shitty law from like 2017. No clue why it exists.

I disagree. i think that if some of the LEOs play on their crim alts, there will then be more crime, resulting in more pagers for departments. If there’s more action in-game, there will be more units that respond and are on duty within v2.

ok i just reread what i typed and it may sound confusing but basically,

More crime = more LEOs

Yes some leos will be on crim side, but the ones that aren’t on their alts will have more action

also the inactive leos who are bored of v2 will be awaken and play the game more

I agree with Auto however I’d say that it should maybe be linked to it’s main account as well as have any moderation history carry over to the main account

Just gonna say from Ridgeway experience it works well. LEOs are crims and there is still a good balance. It will work fine, the only thing I can see being an issue is what Cossie said, alts being in departments with classified info could be an issue. This is because being a crim alt would usually result in being in a group of people doing crime together, which could easily result in things like peer pressure being used for information being shared, or just simply just giving out classified information in these friend group discords.

Moving away from criminal alts and into criminal activity which is a topic also discussed here, I’ve previously seen some very good unscheduled roleplay scenarios started by a small number of people. I know of someone and his friend Ronnie who often set up very interactive and unique scenarios including a missing person, trespass and motor investigation. There are members who do this from time to time, but it definitely isn’t the rule.

I don’t think, in order to encourage criminal activity or engagement, this community needs more incidents or scheduled roleplay events because it’s somewhat unsustainable with the required support from senior members of the community or roleplay societies. In addition, scheduled events such as mass-casualty incidents should be few and far between, which they are now becoming.

I think that the senior members of the community should be encouraging everyone to start setting up small roleplay events. Something which would allow the police to start and handle an inquiry, similar to a road-traffic collision investigation or potential crime, such as a report trespass or assault.

In order to facilitate a roleplay environment, I believe that the introduction of a guide for role-play would certainly help newer members and those interested in contributing the opportunity to interact with public services more frequently and really help entrench the feeling of a roleplay environment. A comprehensive list of dos and don’ts for both public services and the public from the moderation or senior staff would be very helpful, which the fail role-play guide doesn’t achieve as it’s more or less equivalent to common law which really only outlines when a police officer is able to effect an arrest and does not serve as an introduction to roleplay for newer players.

facts, especially because we have no way of knowing at this time if people do have crim alts. also, don’t see a point in requiring it to be another like moderation thing, due to the fact that plenty of people probably have alts. as a former department leader once said, "plenty of people in (insert department name here) have crim alts, as long as they keep it lowkey, nobody finds out.

It’s roblox. Boo hoo if anything “classified” is leaked. The only thing classified in Firestone is who killed Epstein :scream: and we already know the answer

People keep making this same gripe but not only fail to provide any evidence to back it up, but decline to report misuse to the FFC generally.

everyone knows CFL holders abuse their privilege

Probably because it’s impossible to report any forms of CFL misconduct in this state. Unless you’re an LEO, you have no real way of obtaining proof of someone’s identification if they choose to hide it. It’s common knowledge at this point. The people who receive the bulk of the abuse from CFL’s, are criminals. And it’s hard to try to ID someone who killed you when you’re arrested right after you get gunned down. Not to mention, LEO’s in this state are not willing to listen to everyone’s side of the story. In the streets, criminals are presumed guilty unless they can somehow prove otherwise. LEO’s will always side with CFL’s, because “legal citizens” are always viewed as the most trustworthy.

CFLs just sitting at CD to use their gun on the most minute infractions are TOXIC and CANCELED as of NOW!

If I’m gonna be blunt, the concept of having CFL’s was a good idea but it’s just very poorly executed in Firestone and doesn’t work out whatsoever. There’s way too much abuse, and too little enforcement of the actual laws and policies when it comes to CFL holders.
