Even thought I am POST certified and I do not do crime I still think this needs to be addressed,
So, yesterday I was in the county for a good bit after school, and the amount of FRP by cops was insane. For an example, holding out cuffs to cuff a evading subject (they weren’t tased or anything, so it’d be a cuff snipe). Next, we have cops batoning people out of vehicles then cuffing them the second they were removed. I honestly think the game mods need to do more to LEO’s to supervise them. Don’t even get me started with tactical units.
Now here’s something that happened to me, a pursuit was passing by and a FBI agent was in a pursuit and was driving all over, recklessly. I pulled over and still got my tire popped and the FBI agent failed to stop. I remember in POST they teach us, if you accidentally pop a citizens tire, your REQUIRED to stop.
Now, I am not trying to kiss up on citizens, these are issues that happen often.
I want opinions to see what you guys think.
Should Law Enforcement Officers get more strict punishments for breaking rules?
If you have any evidence of rule violations in game, report them in the main discord using the requestban command. If you are banned from the discord you can contact a game moderator.
My intentions when creating the post wasn’t to focus on FRP and game rules, it was also towards them not following what POST teaches, and other stuff like that.
What really gets me pissed off is cops dont use their words. They just cuff you and move you if they dont like where your standing. Cops dont do this IRL and its such FRP. Just ASK the person to move, if they dont then move them. At least ask first
I mean cops do the same. I was standing in a parking lot talking to someone when an SCSO cuffed me and moved me without saying 1 word. Its annoying and stupid
Should Law Enforcement Officers get more strict punishments
Don’t get me wrong, everyone regardless of status should be punished for FRP, but it makes no sense that a cop’s punishment is harsher than a civilians only on account of them being a cop. In that element, I totally disagree. Had your poll asked whether cops should be punished for FRP, I would have agreed.
