§1. Title

(a) This amendment shall be known, and may be cited as, the “Chief of Staff Employment Change".


§2. Enactment

(a) This amendment shall go into effect upon completing the processes constitutionally required.


§3. Definitions

(a) The Employment Act of 2023 shall be defined as: Employment Act of 2023


§4. Amendment(s)

(a) Chapter 1, Section 8 of the Employment Act of 2023 currently states:
“(a) Citizens may, irrespective of positions or titles, only hold one (1) of the following positions, titles, designations, or offices at any moment—
(i) Governor;
(ii) Lieutenant Governor;
(iii) Chief Court Justice;
(iv) Cabinet member;
(v) Sub-cabinet member;
(vi) Associate Justice;
(vii) Senator;
(viii) Representative;
(ix) District Court Judge
(x) County Executive;
(xi) County Sheriff; or
(xii) County Fire Chief.”

(a1) Chapter 1, Section 8 of the Employment Act of 2023 shall be amended to state:
“(a) Citizens may, irrespective of positions or titles, only hold one (1) of the following positions, titles, designations, or offices at any moment—
(i) Governor;
(ii) Lieutenant Governor;
(iii) Chief Court Justice;
(iv) Cabinet member, except the position of Chief of Staff;
(v) Sub-cabinet member, except the position of Deputy Chief of Staff;
(vi) Associate Justice;
(vii) Senator;
(viii) Representative;
(ix) District Court Judge
(x) County Executive;
(xi) County Sheriff; or
(xii) County Fire Chief.”
