Business Contracts

I am looking to create a bill that allows government agencies and entities to officially contract businesses. I am looking to see the public’s opinion seeing as that I genuinely believe if properly executed, it would prove extremely beneficial to businesses and make the workhorse we call the executive branch more efficient and encompassing.

Some examples I can see is a gas company or water cleaning company officially being contracted to do something for the government or be the official provider of gas.

A construction company being contracted to do government estimates (pure roleplay) for new buildings. Damage assessment and etc.

A news company being contracted by the government to talk about foreign states and what is going on.

The possibilities are endless, and at the end of the day are up to the government so they can control misuse.

Attached is a poll to gauge the interest of the public and business owners. DM me questions or respond to this post.

Good idea yes or no?

Like this? Contracts Act of 2019

Like connor said, departments can already do this (and do)!

I’ve seen this, but it is very clear that departments do not have the ability to enter these agreements, especially when department heads change, governors change, and etc. Obviously does not equate to what I’ve proposed in this post.

I haven’t seen a business formally be contracted for any work besides the occasional capital gas roleplay, I’d love to see an example if there is any though.

Yes they do, it’s a “party”.

I stand corrected, I do still believe some expansion would be nice, but it looks like this has already been executed.
