Mr. Noobsiance (for himself Mr. FrostEspresso, Mr. b_aconxv, Mr. wierdo25, Mr. Flam_ed, Mr. Tor_Laws, Mr. Faachiano) introduced the following amendment:AN AMENDMENT
To allow municipal departments the authority to arrest individualsBe it enacted by the Senate and the House of Representatives of the State of Firestone in Congress assembled,
§1. Title
(a) This Amendment shall be known, and may be cited as, "An Amendment to the Authority to Arrest Act”.
§2. Enactment
(a) This amendment shall go into effect upon completing the processes constitutionally required.
§3. Emendation
The Authority to Arrest Act shall be amended,
(a) Section 8, Subsection (c) of the Authority to Arrest Act of 2022 currently states:
Only certified law enforcement officers (alongside members of the National Guard) of the following departments shall be legally able to conduct arrests, detain individuals, conduct search and seizure, or issue fines and citations:
(ii) Firestone Bureau of Investigation;
(iii) Firestone Department of Homeland Security, but only when operating within the version 2 Map of Stapleton County;
(iv) Firestone National Guard;
(v) Firestone Department of Corrections;
(vi) Firestone Park Service, but only when operating within the version 3 Map of Stapleton County;
(vii) Stapleton County Sheriff’s Office;
(viii) Stapleton County Port Authority, but only when operating within the version 3 Map of Stapleton County;
(ix) Redwood Police Department, but only when operating within the version 3 Map of Stapleton County;
(x) Arborfield Police Department, but only when operating within the version 3 Map of Stapleton County;
(xi) Prominence District Police, but only when operating within the version 3 Map of Stapleton County.
(b) Section 8, Subsection (c) of the Authority to Arrest Act of 2022 shall now state:
Only certified law enforcement officers (alongside members of the National Guard) of the following departments shall be legally able to conduct arrests, detain individuals, conduct search and seizure, or issue fines and citations:
(ii) Firestone Bureau of Investigation;
(iii) Firestone Department of Homeland Security, but only when operating within the version 2 Map of Stapleton County;
(iv) Firestone National Guard;
(v) Firestone Department of Corrections;
(vi) Firestone Park Service;
(vii) Stapleton County Sheriff’s Office;
(viii) Stapleton County Port Authority;
(ix) Redwood Police Department;
