An Amendment to Clarify Maritime Events

BE IT ENACTED BY THE STATE OF FIRESTONE CONGRESS HERE ASSEMBLED THAT:

SECTION 1: Chapter 7, Section 1, sub-section a3 of the Firestone Criminal Code currently states: “An operator of a Watercraft shall be exempt from Chapter 7, Section 1 if a part of an approved event by the Department of Boating and Waterways administration and the Department of Boating and Waterways has made strenuous efforts to organize such event in advance and has taken precautions to ensure a safe and blocked off area from the public in which the race shall only be permitted to be within.”

SECTION 2: Chapter 7, Section 1, sub-section a3 of the Firestone Criminal Code shall be amended to state, “An operator of a Watercraft shall be exempt from Chapter 7, Section 1 if a part of an approved event by the Department of Boating and Waterways administration and the Department of Boating and Waterways has made strenuous efforts to organize such event in advance and has taken precautions to ensure a safe and blocked off area from the public in which the event shall only be permitted to be within.”

SECTION 3: The Firestone Criminal Code shall be defined as: Firestone Criminal Code

SECTION 4: Should any part of this legislation be constructed by any judicial body of this state to be unconstitutional and declared unenforceable then that part shall be severed with the rest of the act remaining in full force and effect.

SECTION 6: This legislation shall be brought into law, given that it follows the procedures to do so, as outlined by the Constitution.
