An Amendment to Cease Frivolous Citations (R)

To ensure that road safety is prioritized over fear of getting cited for frivolous purposes. Revised because there was a better solution than just removing the clause.

Be it enacted by the Senate and the House of Representatives of the State of Firestone in Congress assembled,

§1. Title

(a) This act shall be known, and may be cited as, “An Amendment to Cease Frivolous Citations (R)”

§2. Enactment

(a) This Bill shall go into effect as an Act of Congress upon completing the processes constitutionally required.

§3. Severability

(a) Should any part of this Act be struck down and/or declared unenforceable, then that part shall be severed with the rest remaining in full force and effect unless all is struck down and/or declared unenforceable.

§4. Enforcement

(a) This Act shall be enforced by any relevant parties.

§5. Definitions

(a) “Firestone Traffic Revision Act” shall be defined as Trello

§6. Amendments

(a1) Chapter 2 §4(1) of the Firestone Traffic Revision Act currently states: “‘Improper Use of Signals’ shall be an illegal infraction in Firestone. Improper Use of Signals shall be defined as: “failure to use turn signals or indicators when switching lanes, turning, making a u-turn, exiting a roundabout, merging into traffic, or entering parts of the roadway from other parts of the roadway at least 1 second prior to making the action” OR “using the incorrect turn signal when switching lanes, turning, making a u-turn, exiting a roundabout, merging into traffic, or entering parts of the roadway from other parts of the roadway or using a turn signal without consequently conducting such an action within 5 seconds””.

(a2) Chapter 2 §4(1) of the Firestone Traffic Revision Act shall be amended to state: “‘Improper Use of Signals’ shall be an illegal infraction in Firestone. Improper Use of Signals shall be defined as: “failure to use turn signals or indicators when switching lanes, turning, making a u-turn, exiting a roundabout, merging into traffic, or entering parts of the roadway from other parts of the roadway at least 1 second prior to making the action” OR “using the incorrect turn signal when switching lanes, turning, making a u-turn, exiting a roundabout, merging into traffic, or entering parts of the roadway from other parts of the roadway or using a turn signal without consequently conducting such an action within 15 seconds unless they are stopped at a traffic light or are yielding in which they shall consequently conduct their turn as soon as reasonably possible and lawfully permitted.””.
