An Act to Prevent the Unlawful Covering Up Of Signs Resulting in Accidents Whilst Driving

THE STATE OF FIRESTONE CONGRESS HERE ASSEMBLED THAT:

Section 1: Title, Effective Date, and Enforcement

A) This bill shall be known as “An Act to Prevent the Unlawful Covering Up Of Signs Resulting in Accidents Whilst Driving”.

B) This bill shall become effective immediately upon passage into law.

C) Any person whom is designated as an LEO or an employee within an LEA is permitted to execute this act.

Section 2: Definitions

A) Hereinafter the word “sign” shall refer to any photograph or marking which is designated to assist drivers in their driving by way of understanding, however shall not be limited to, the speed limit, local laws, informational signs of near designations, and warnings necessary to warn drivers of hazards nearby.

Section 3: Illegalities

A) It shall be unlawful for a person to willfully obstruct a sign so that the photograph or marking is not visible in whole or part.

B) It shall be unlawful for a person to obstruct a sign so that the photograph or marking is not visible in whole or part.

Section 4: Sanctions for Unlawful Actions

A) Actions in violation of section 3 of this act shall be regarded as a misdemeanor (only if they were in violation of subsection A of section 3 of this act) or an infraction (only if they were in violation of subsection B of section 3 of this act).

B) For misdemeanor violations of this act, as defined by subsection A of this section, the offender may be cited a maximum of four hundred ($400) dollars and or committed to a term of a maximum of five hundred seconds in prison.

C) For violations of this act classified as an infraction, as defined by subsection A of this section, the offender may merely be released with a warning or cited up to twenty dollars ($20).

D) Any person who habitually violates subsection A of section 3 shall have the penalty increased by twenty dollars ($20) or fifteen (15) seconds per infraction until the penalty reaches nine hundred (900) seconds or six hundred dollars ($600).

E) This section shall not be constructed to limited in any way the Judiciary from assigning more or less time in prison, or fines, for a violation of this law. It shall also not be constructed to limit the judiciary from just utilizing prison terms, or fines, for violations of this act.
