An Act to Give the Department of Defense Investigative Authority


BE IT ENACTED BY THE STATE OF FIRESTONE CONGRESS HERE ASSEMBLED THAT:

PREAMBLE. The Firestone Department of Defense was established primarily to coordinate the states defensive and security aspects, meaning the Firestone National Guard and the Department of Homeland Security and supervising the deterrence of attacks on the state and war. The Department of Defense does this job well with what it has. Secondly The Firestone Department of Defense was established to oversee the Departments that deal with the Security of the State and to keep these said Departments professional and incorruptible. The original establishing document of the Firestone Department of Defense did not give the Firestone Department of Defense the full powers that it requires to do its job. This Act gives the Firestone Department of Defense the powers it requires to do its job and do it efficiently.

SECTION I. A Bill to Establish the Firestone Department of Defense shall be amended.

SECTION II. In this legislation, “A Bill to Establish the Firestone Department of Defense” shall be defined as:

SECTION III. Section 2, clause d of A Bill to Establish the Firestone Department of Defense shall be created and shall state: “(d) The Firestone Department of Defense shall also have the authority to launch investigations or audits into employees of the Firestone Department of Homeland Security should they be; reported, suspected of committing a crime, violate any directive or policy set by the Firestone Department of Defense, or be found in violation of any policy or standard operating procedure set by the Secretary of the Firestone Department of Homeland Security. The Firestone Department of Defense may report any investigative findings to the supervisor of the employee in question and/or a higher entity in the chain of command for due process for the rendering of punishment. The respective employee’s supervisor and/or higher entity in the chain of command is not obligated to heed said findings unless otherwise directed by law. The Firestone Department of Defense shall not have the authority to override decisions made by the Firestone Department of Homeland Security command staff.”

SECTION IV. This legislation shall go into force immediately after following the Constitutional procedure required.
