AN ACT
to Establish General Employment Rights


PREAMBLE
The hard-working people of the State of Firestone have demanded rights that they’re entitled to as a working entity of the community. This act shall have the sole purpose of establishing general rights granted to those who currently have an occupation.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE STATE OF FIRESTONE CONGRESS HERE ASSEMBLED THAT:


SEC. 1.

(a) This act may be cited as the “General Employment Rights Act of 2018” formally.

(b) Any private person employed by any government entity or private entity shall be granted the power to exercise certain rights that are granted by this statute and any other statutes pertaining to employment rights.

(c ) Employment rights granted by this statute shall not be curtailed by any other law enacted by Congress, unless amended or repealed, or any guidelines or code set by an employer in the State of Firestone.

(d) Should any employer curtail any right granted by this statute, the employee of said employer may challenge the employer in civil litigation in the District Court of the State of Firestone whereas the Courts will determine and interpret, in an instance, if this statue has been violated in any form or manner.

(e) All employment rights granted by virtue of the statute are enumerated in Section 2 of this statute; Congress shall have the power to annex or omit rights with plausible reasoning given that the rights are not unlawful or conflict with any superior document.

SEC. 2.

(a) All employees shall reserve the right to challenge any decision of any employer in civil litigation whereas said decision pertains to employment status, reputation, or standing in a given community.

(b) All employees shall be protected from any threats or unlawful actions made by the employer to subsequently cause harm to the employee.

(c ) All employees shall be protected from informing any authority of their employer’s illicit activity, illicit activity shall be turned over to the Firestone Department of Justice and the Firestone Bureau of Investigation.

(d) All employees shall reserve the right to operate in a safe and non-hostile workplace.

(e) All employees shall be free of on-sight discrimination by the employer or any other employees, in the workplace, in regards to race, gender, orientation, religion, and/or reputation.

(f) All employees shall reserve the right to privacy; an employee’s information may not be released without permission.

(g) All employees shall be protected from unfair or unjust terminations unless proven actions by the employee, in essence, accelerated and provoked their termination through just investigations, upon completion, or malpractice of both which the employee shall be informed of.

(h) All employees reserve the right to be informed of any actions taken by the employer to suspend, terminate, or investigate previous actions–reasons shall also be supplied for actions.

SEC 3.

(a) The Executive Branch shall enforce this statute through the appropriate agencies alongside the enforcement by the Judicial Branch of the State of Firestone.

SEC. 4.

(a) Upon the passage of this legislation by both the Senate and House of Representatives and subsequently being signed by the Governor, this bill shall be made law and go into effect immediately without delay.
